It's Time For A Career Change for Hayden Kho

Hayden Kho, the star, scriptwriter, director and cameraman, of several sex videos featuring pretty celebrities like Katrina Halili and Maricar Reyes, is now busy looking up job ads on the back pages of Bulgar after the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revoked his license to practice medicine.

The PRC cited "Immorality, Dishonorable and Unethical Conduct" in its decision to revoke Hayden Kho's license.

I'm joking about Hayden searching the job ads in Bulgar. Since his resume includes his extensive collection of sex videos with his past girlfriends, it's safe to say that he has amassed a great deal of experience and skills in porn.

Porn is a lucrative business, and his notoriety is a good launching pad for a career in porn. He could start small, through webcam, inviting gals and guys to view his live streaming performance. O, di ba?

If that career still fails (I have doubts because even if he can be inventive, he's not impressive down there), Hayden can always renegotiate his boytoy contract with Vicki, I mean, Victoria Belo. Make it a life-long contract or until Vicki Belo's face melts.

Katrina Halili and her benefactor Bong Revilla must be feeling vindicated. But if I were them I won't rest because Hayden can still appeal the PRC's decision.

I would like to suggest setting up an "accidental" meeting between Hayden Kho and another rich matrona to set him up for life and make him forget about his vocation to cure people of their insecurities.

I know Hayden Kho has Vicki Belo but even a pervert like Hayden deserves to have a choice of sugar mommy.

Is Bong Revilla now vindicated in my eyes? NO, not until he stops pretending to be a senator. I puked a little in my mouth when he felt the need to make a presscon to announce that he is not running for vice president. Hello, may clamour? Kanino? sa sampung tao na kinamayan ka nung nakasalubong mo?

And I wanted to stab a small kitten when middle-aged women from some Metro Manila barangay who were rendered homeless due to Ondoy went instantly ga-ga when Bong Revilla deigned to dirty his imported shoes to visit them. Ladies, priorities? Kailagan daw talagang magsisigaw at kiligin kay Bong Revilla eh wala na nga kayong bahay at makain.

As for Katrina, do I now consider her the modern-day hero for oppressed women? Absolutely and categorically NO. Not until she resolves the peace situation in Mindanao or she agrees to be one of the wives of Andal Ampatuan, Jr.

After Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto Fight, the Next Attraction is Jinkee Pacquiao vs Krista Ranillo

Now that we know Miguel Cotto really bleeds like a stuck pig, (we have Manny Pacquiao to thank for that) the next showdown everyone is waiting for is between Jinkee Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo because it is all over town that the sexy actress is Manny’s current stalker. The jury’s still out on whether the stalking has Manny’s permission.

Curious minds want to know who is Manny’s companion for the private celebration for his win – Krista or Jinkee?

The video above shows Manny Pacquiao with a mystery woman after his live appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Krista and family arrived in Las Vegas Nov 3. Jinkee joined her husband on Nov 9.

SMS from one of Jinkee's friends, lifted from Julius Babao's twitters.

Ang sabi sa tsismis, Krista Ranillo is in Manny Pacquiao’s new movie Wapakman (or however you spell that word) but the connection goes deeper than that.

Manny Pacquiao was holed up in Baguio for a number of weeks to set up a training camp and Krista was allegedly there. Ask Angel Locsin, who showed up to where Manny and his entourage were staying to request for personal things that she can auction off for the Ondoy victims.

Allegedly, Angel Locsion saw a girl waving at her from one of the rooms. It was only later that she knew that it was Krista she saw.

Krista and her family were also on hand to watch the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto at MGM Grand last No 15.

It was Manny who personally invited Krista and her family. Did you hear that resounding slap on Jinkee’s cheek upon reading that little tidbit?

According to those in the know, Krista’s acting the slutwhore with the Pacman has her dad Matt Ranillo’s blessing. Allegedly, the family is quite broke. There are also rumors that Matt is running again in the 2010 elections so he’s insinuating himself in Manny’s inner circle hoping for what Manny can do for him, not what he can do for Manny.

I’m just musing out loud but what the heck is Matt doing running again in the elections when he’s broke? I hope it’s because of his fervent desire to serve the public?

What’s happened to Matt Ranillo? From playing Jesus Christ and Lorenzo Ruiz and now to pimp daddy?!

Let’s try to guess if there is any truth to the Manny-Krista relationship, shall we? Before Manny’s Nov 15 fight Manny and Jinkee allegedly had a major row over Krista. At the thanksgiving mass for Manny’s win, Jinkee cried buckets when the priest was talking about family. She was dodging Manny’s attempts at comfort and instead turned to her lady friend on the left.

Manny, when asked to confirm/deny, said “no comment.” Kaya daw tayo hindi umuunlad dahil nangingialam tayo ng buhay ng iba. Uhm, kung hindi kayo tayo manood ng laban nya kasi hindi naman tayo ang nagiging bilyonaryo?

Now I’m waiting for news that Krista has built her own mansion, opened a restaurant or boutique, with her own money, of course, “supposedly.”

Edu Manzano is Gilbert Teodoro’s Vice Presidential Running Mate

Kumusta naman ito? It has been confirmed that Edu Manzano has jumped to the Lakas-Kampi-CMD camp to run as the running mate to presidential aspirant Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro.

I said jumped because it was just a few weeks back that I read Edu Manzano was seeking a senate seat under Manny Villar’s Nacionalista Party. Even Gilberto Teodoro was with Danding Cojuangco’s National People’s Coalition (NPC) party before.

Well that’s party loyalty for us – there’s none in the Philippines.

Vilma Santos and Bong Revilla were considered before Edu. I think Lakas-Kampi-CMD would even ask Amay Bisaya – if they are certain that he is winnable and still on the same plane as the rest of humanity.

What’re the party’s considerations for picking Edu Manzano? There many but experience and credentials are probably of the bottom of the list.

Let’s see what Edu got that others don’t.

Edu is the ex-husband of Vilma Santos and Maricel Soriano. He’s the father of Lucky Manzano. He’s a former vice mayor of Makati. I don’t know why he’s aspiring for vice president when he couldn’t even win as mayor for a small city.

And of course, he was the former Optical Media Board chairman, the government’s anti-piracy agency.

Come to think of it, Iam not sure if Edu’s last post makes win winnable because think of all the Muslims in the pirated CD trade who hates his guts. You think they would vote for him? I’m thinking even those Muslims who don’t bother to vote would troop to the voting precints just to thwart Edu.

Let's Get Physical

That's what Lorna Tolentino and Chin-Chin Gutierrez did in their confrontation scene for the ABS-CBN soap Dahil May Isang Ikaw.

Lorna and Chin-Chin play mommy to Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, respectively, in the soap.

Who was at the receiving end of that very realistic sampalan scene? Well, the script called for Lorna and Chin-Chin to slap each other twice. But Lorna got the brunt of it because Chin-Chin hit Lorna below the lips and left them bruised. Not content, Chin-Chin slapped Lorna so hard that her ring got caught in Lorna’s hair, pulling some of it in the process.

Go Green!

Stunned, Lorna continued with the scene even if she was in pain. Per the script, Lorna was supposed to only scream “Paalisin ang babaing ‘yan!” at Chin-Chin. However, the pain made Lorna momentarily forget that she's a grieving widow and uttered these lines instead: “Paalisin ang p----- g i---g babaing ‘yan!” and instinctively kicked Chin-Chin in the leg.

I don't watch Dahil May Isang Ikaw (c'mon it's Jericho Rosales (overrated) and Kristine Hermosa (mental)) but I saw this particular scene because the blogging gods and goddesses were smiling at me that night.

The profanity from Lorna must have been blipped out because I didn't hear it. The scene was abruptly cut, so I would tend to believe that the scene got so realistic, people at the shot entered the frame to separate their lead actresses.

I thought Chin-Chin’s mellow, a peace-sign exhibitionist, if you will. I thought Chin-Chin so loves nature her sweat is green. Chin-Chin got the cover of Time Asia for her green activism. She's known to commune with nature, even talk to plants. I read that vegetarian tends to be sanctimonious, anorexic and twatty but I just found out going green could make you go postal.

So what got into Chin-Chin Gutierrez? Aww, she probably found out that Lorna abused a plant in her garden so she meted out her own justice by getting a piece of Lorna.

Chin-Chin reportedly apologized after a while and even prayed over Lorna, you know the “hand over head thingy while you mumble?”

If I were Lorna, I would have taken several plants hostage and demand that Chin-Chin apologize sincerely, or else.

This may not be the end of the Lorna vs Chin-Chin saga because Lorna is not amused, yo.

Expect to see Chin-Chin’s character meet a car accident where her body will not be recognizable. Also expect to see a reincarnation of Chin-Chin’s character in another actress, who according to the script, had to have a plastic surgery to change her face and exact her revenge on Lorna’s character.

Lorna will emerge triumphant and the old Chin-Chin character in a straight jacket is escorted by men in white to a white padded cell with no windows. The End.

In the actual, Lolit Solis, the manager of Lorna Tolentino, is waiting for a lone Chin-Chin in the back alley of ABS-CBN ready to ask for anything na mahaharbat.

Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez tie the knot - Finally

The long-awaited wedding (on Korina's part, I guess) between Sen Mar Roxas and TV broadcaster Korina Sanchez finally happened on Oct 27 at the Sto Domingo Church in Quezon City.

The Filipiana-inspired wedding was attended by the "who's who" of Philippine politics, showbiz, business and the alta sociedad.

The guest list included: Vice President Noli de Castro, Chief Justice Reynato Puno, Sen. Benigno "Noynoy"Aquino III, former President Joseph Estrada, Ballsy-Aquino Cruz, former Senatory and NEDA chief Ralph Recto, US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney, former Senate President Franklin Drilon, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, PNRC Governor Rosa Rosal, and former Senator Jovito Salonga.

Guest from the world of media were: ABS-CBN Chairman Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III, ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, veteran journalist Cheche Lazaro, and showbiz talk show host Kris Aquino, among others.

The bride, who arrived 45 minutes late to her wedding, wore white, a serpentine-style (whatever that is) gown designed by Pepito Alberta. Korina is no blushing virgin, but sige na nga let's just give it to her.

There were thousands of "uzis" outside the church waiting for a glimpse of the bride.

Imagine their disappointed when Korina arrived and was immediately surrounded by a huge cloth by her alalays to shield her from onlookers.

According to my favorite tabloid, the "supporters" (I'm using the term loosely) were so disappointed they will no longer vote for Mar.

Yeah! That's the kind of voters we have. They don't disappoint. I always say, just as there should be some sort of approval process before a couple can breed, people should be screened before they are allowed to vote. The requirements must be expanded to include not just being 18 years old. So what, right?

Korina was late because she visited the graves of her parents at Heritage Park in Taguig. I guess she couldn't do it a day before or after the ceremony, or the very next day. Added drama for a more entertaining look/read in the media. Wedding ceremonies are so routinary, kasi.

Guess, who attention-grabber was during the wedding? Nope, the bride. Kris Aquino, whose son James (the baby, not the daddy) was the ring bearer, came in a black gown for the afternoon affair.

As for the reception, guests gathered at the Roxas' grand mansion, Bahay na Puti, in Araneta. The reception was initially set to take place in Araneta Coliseum. But because Ondoy happened, that plan was scratched.

On the good stuff - the honeymoon. It's a short vacation in Hello Kitty land, Japan. A longer honeymoon is planned in Europe. So what happens in the honeymoon? They will talk political strategy. Just let your imagination run wild.

The Plastic War

I'm not talking about the battle over who can sell the most Tupperware products. I'm talking about a brewing catfight between Mikaela Bilbao vs Gretchen Barreto and Pops Fernandez.

But first who is Mikaela Bilbao? If you tuned in on the first few episodes of the current Celebrity Duets, you wouldn't have missed this lady in a tanga costume, doing what I think is singing. As soon I saw her face full frontal, I thought "the Helen of Troy of our generation." Later I found out that she is the genius behind "Philosophy" by Mikaela Bilbao, a beauty and wellness center. Who knew, right?

Alas, Mikaela dropped out of the competition because according to her doctor, the intense heat from the studio's kleig lights is bad for her complexion. No, according to Mikaela the contest is putting too much pressure on her plastic mug on her health.

Well, anyway...

The root of the catfight is money, or in this case the promise thereof, and it all started from a text sent to Ana Abiera, a close friend of Gretchen Barreto and Nadia Montenegro.

Gretchen Barreto and Nadia Montenegro are former best buds. Nadia Montenegro is now an endorser of Philosophy for their weight-loss technology.

Mikaela got embroiled in the controversy because she "allegedly" was the sender of the malicious text.

The connection is with Dodie Puno, the brother of DILG secretary Ronnie Puno; the alleged new rich man in Gretchen Barreto's life (not that Tonyboy Cojuangco is out of the picture); and the executive director of the Road Board, the agency handling the dispensing, that is supposedly the responsible dispensing, of billions of pesos of road users' tax.

I didn't know Gretchen and Pops are so hard up that they need to dip their fingers in government contracts? I read that Nadia is, but that's neither here nor there because her name was not in the text.

But I think Gretchen really needs the funds wherever she can get it because there's always new branded shoes, clothes and bags to get her hands on and the shops will not wait for her.

Gretchen has said she's in consultation with her lawyers to advise her on what to do with the creature who dared maligned her name in public.

Mikaela has appeared on a number of showbiz talk shows to defend her good name. To quote her "hindi ako ipinanganak para matakot sa isang Gretchen Barreto."

Hmm, them are fighting words. But I expect to see these same people making bese-beso in social-climbing events in no time. As they say, friends who do plastic surgery together, flock together. Well, I'm mixing my idioms, but you get my drift.

Mikaela dropped other bombshells. Like it was Pops Fernandez who called her up to ask for help on a government contract. Another one: Gretchen, Pops and Ruffa went on a vacation in Bohol with certain top government officials.

I don't who's telling the truth; I don't really care to find out. What is clear is that it is unethical for any of these ladies to make commissions on government contracts on the virtue of one or two of them having an intimate connection with the person who has the power to award the winning bid.

Mikaela is encouraging Gretchen to take the dispute in court where she can reveal all she knows.

The stakes are high. I wish they’d get a judge who is creative, one who would rule that whoever losses will have to choices for punishment: spend an inordinate of time under extreme heat or allow one flick on the loser’s nose.

The complete text message sent to Gretchen Barretto's friend, Ana Abiera:

I recorded my conversation with Jenny Munar.

Richard Gutierrez Is Really His Mother’s Son

I’ve no doubt about it now. Read on.

So, on Oct 2, Richard Gutierrez figured in an incident at the NAIA Terminal 3. The controversial actor and Jewel Mische were late arriving at the boarding gate, causing them to be offloaded from their Cebu Pacific Air flight bound to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to airport sources, Richard threw a temper tantrum, shouting at airline personnel, even going so far as spitting on his boarding pass and throwing it against a wall.

I’ve been waiting for this escandalo to hit our local media, and nada. No TV or newspaper coverage. If I didn’t happen to read it in another showbiz website, I wouldn’t know about Richard’s Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde personality.

I caught moneyger Anabelle Rama being asked about the incident during her birthday celebration in an orphanage. All she said was “bayaan na ang mga naninira sa anak nya.” A mild-mannered Anabelle Rama is like seeing Mother Theresa angrily rejecting the needy and the sick. I’m thinking she was being kind becase it’s her birthday or it’s all she can say in her son’s defense. Huli sa akto, eh.

Anyway, Richard and Jewel arrived on time at the airport and was able to check in their luggage. For some reason, they failed to show up on time for boarding.

Some are saying they had a quickie. I don’t believe this. I believe it was longer than a quickie. I’m imagining the sex involved whips and handcuffs that’s why they took so long. But I won’t go there since this is a GP site.

Sources also said Richard and Jewel could have boarded but they were waylaid by mga chipangang airline personnel who wanted to take pictures. I’m thinking Richard went along because he doesn’t want to hurt his fans’ feelings. Lecheng fans! Sila ba magbabayad ng rebooking mo?

You see this is one of those times when security is helpful. They will do your dirty work like barricade you against overzealous fans. Since Richard and Jewel took a budget airline, I guess security is too steep an investment for them.

When this incident happened, Anabelle Rama could not be reached for comment. I don’t think Anabelle’s secret room at their palatial house can be reached by cellphone signals. The room with her voodoo dolls is impenetratable by advanced technologies such as GPS and satellites.

Who made a comment about the incident on their Twitter account? None other than Raymund Gutierrez, Richard’s Impakta (of the fanteserye Darna), I mean her twin brother.

Raymund twitted:

"wow.it seems like PEP is really out to get my bro.no airport incident happened-he’d been in the country and was even in Mel & joey live lastnight."

"Just called my brother reg the latest article on PEP. Like me, he is saddened and shocked. another day, another lie. what can we do..."

"there are a lot of future scriptwriters out there. half of them work for PEP."

"all the negative press the past few months... wonder who’s behind it all. hmmm... lets all take a wild guess shall we?"

"Nakakatawa ang PEP. fri-he was in GMA with the people from GMA films; Sat-he worked out in his condo and had a meeting; Sun- he was on Mel & Joey."

Thank god for Twitdards like Raymund who use Twitter to let the world know of their stupidity. Basically, Raymund dear, your brother could have done all those things you mentioned and still have time to go to the airport, have a quickie and catch his flight (or try to).

Moral of the story: Avoid quickies until you’ve boarded. Join the mile high club instead, but not in a budget airline. Don’t be cheap and book youself in business class.

Ara Mina Believes People of Provident Village Should Have Been Saved First

The reason? Provident Village is like Corithian Gardens, ergo the people who live there are rich.

Elitist much, Ara?

For those not in the know (I doubt there are people who don't kbnow unless you're living under rock or you just don't care) this little piece of wisdom came from Ara Mina because her little sister and the rest of her family live in Provident Village in Marikina and was trapped for 12 hours on the rooftop of their house.

Ara Mina was confounded why rescue was slow for her sister who lives in a posh subdivision.

Ara Mina's handlers should let her know, gradually of course because we don't want her to undergo a rude awakening, that her sister is not special even if she bagged the No 1 spot in FHM's most beautiful women, or sexiest women, basta magandang title.

Ara Mina also assumed it's Bayani Fernando and his men who had the responsibility to save her family in Provident Village. In fairness to her, she said "wala siyang tampo kay Chairman Bayani, kasi baka may iba pang sinaklolohan."

Too bad Manny Pacquiao is in Baguio.

Of course, we know Richard Gutierrez saved Cristine and her family in a spectular fashion, riding in a rubber boat, braving strong currents and extreme darkness, to save .... the leading lady of his newest movie, Patient X. Sorry, I've reading too much fiction.

The gods are now smiling on Richard Gutierrez. Imagine, his saving his leading lady, is a great promotional angle for the movie, even if it's of the horor genre. Kaya lang, will people watch? What's a greater horror than seeing a sudden flash flood, being trapped in a water world, waiting for rescue, not knowing when that rescue is coming...Okay, you get my drift.

Anyway...

People of Quezon City, particularly Ara's district, take note. Ara Mina is taking the plunge into politics in the 2010 elections. It's not enough that she tookover Aiko Melendez's leftovers (hmm, Jomari Yllana, anyone?), she will also be trying to take over the council seat that will be vacated by last termer Aiko Melendez, who will be runningh as Vice Mayor.

Quezon City residents this is your future Councilor. If there should be a major calamity again, Ara Mina will be saving her rich constituents first. Kung purita mirasol ka, get a stub and get in line to be saved.

Okay, now. I really don't believe Ara Mina thinks the poor deserved to be saved last. She's probably musing out loud and forgot to turn on her filter. She probably also forgot she was talking in front of the press whose job is to take note of every soundbite, good or bad, from actors and actresses like Ara Mina whose charm goes pffft once they start talking.

Ara's poor wittle brain (smaller than her bust size. yes, I went there so sue me!) can't grasp the concept that Mother Nature is a great equalizer. She's an equal opportunity badass who will devastate your life whether you are poor or rich.

Gurl, your hope to grab an elective position is the people living below the poverty line. I'm sure you know the poor people are in far greater number than the rich. You can't afford to alienate the people who can elect you.

I guess Ara Mina is still lucky because this brilliant soundbite will not be read or heard by that many people, just people like me who doesn't have anything better to do and not even a resident of Quezon City.

People are busy rebuilding their lives, so stupid comments from stupid celebrities are so far from their priorities right now.

Coco Martin Meets Accident on Set

Coco Martin met an accident while shooting an important action scene on the ABS-CBN teleserye Tayong Dalawa, where he plays Ramon.

The scene involved a gun fight between Coco Martin and his enemies. A blank round was shot but the smoke powder entered the actor’s left eye.

In too much pain, Coco was brought to the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, where he underwent several tests. After removing foreign bodies from his life eye and treating the wounds on his face, Coco was allowed to go home.

Because of the accident, an episode of the drama anthology Maalala Mo Kaya and the final action scene on Tayong Dalawa were canceled.

Coco is currently resting at home but continues to take antibiotics and liquid drops for his eye.

Survivor Philippines Palau: Week 4 – Who Got Voted Out?

Yes! Vlad, the alpha male (barf!) was the fourth castaway to be voted out on week 4 of Survivor Philippines Palau.

You so slick Vlad, that’s why your ass is out of the Airai tribe. You were as subtle as an elephant let out in a china shop.

When Airai lost the immunity challenge, I knew Vlad’s days in the island were numbered. As soon as the challenge was over he immediately went to Charles to plot against Charles. Talking with the enemy behind your back? Hindi obvious masyado.

Myka is like more convincing like. Vlad also had the stupidy to talk strategy/backstab with Charles with Myka right behind. Myka like found out like what you were up to, huh, Vlad? Like, sorry.

Alpha males when they lose are bitter. Vlad is no exception per his goodbye confessional. Charles was the target of his bitterness because it was Charles was supposed to be the one gone tonight. Sorry, Vlad you were more annoying, lazier and more of a douchebag than Charles.

Naman kasi, sumobra si Vlad. He and Troy couldn’t assert their alpha male-ness while there was Shaun and Cris. Immediately after the tribal swift, without Shaun running the old Airai, Vlad got too power hungry and started his obvious plotting and politicking.

My happiness over Vlad’s boot is tempered by the fact that he is off to Isla Purgatoryo to battle it out with original Isla Purgatoryo castaway Justine. But I hopes that Vlad is so out of it already that Justine can chalk up a win against Vlad. Also, Justine was a former man so medyo patas nila (chos!).

TRIBAL SWITCH: Because of a tribal shift, there original Airai and Koror are no more. The new Koror are Amanda, Jef, Echo, Marvin, Shaun and Suzuki. The new Airai are Myka, Cris, Tara, Troy, Charles, Louie and Vlad (voted out at last tribal council).

ISLA PURGATORY: Maya technically was the second castaway to have her torch snuffed. Justine won the physical challenge consisting of putting together the wheels of cart, climbing stations for puzzle pieces and completing the puzzle.

REWARD CHALLENGE: The swimming challenge was won Airai and they got fishballs for reward. Jef couldn’t complete the challenge, putting Koror one flag behind Koror. Marvin had a mental lapse and forgot to take two flags during the second round, putting Koror further behind Airai.

Koror won, thanks to asshole Vlad who wondered why Marvin was able to keep up with him – him being a swimmer in college or something. Troy remains lucky kasi hindi siya nalunod.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE:
Koror wins, getting immunity plus letters and photos from home.

Troy is a sitting duck without his pal Vlad. Louie, a douchebag on the downlow, is another target. If Airai losses immunity again next week, either Troy or Louie is out. Both are indispensable at this point because the four, Myka, the ring leader, Tara, Chris and Charles seemed to sticking together.

Next week challenge should be fun. It’s a challenge already in the US version, Survivor Palau.

Dennis Trillo’s Boracay Vacation Ends in Tragedy

A friend of Kapuso star Dennis Trillo, Jollibee “JB” Bordajo, was killed in a freak accident in Boracay Wednesday afternoon, Sep 9, according to radio reports.

According to Popoy Caritativo, manager of Dennis Trillo, it was the actor’s first time in Boracay.

The trip was supposed to be business and pleasure for the actor. Dennis is a guest for an event for Discovery Shores and he wanted to take the opportunity to take a vacation after wrapping up his GMA Network comedy series “Adik Sa ‘Yo.”

Dennis went to Boracay on Sep 8 with friend Jollybee "JB" Borbajo, who is also the road manager of singer Gian Magdangal.

After lunch on Sep 9, Dennis and JB, accompanied by young actress Maxine Eigenmann, daughter of Mark Gil, went swimming at Station 1.

“Apparently, malakas daw yung alon, yung mga waves. They were on this area na maraming bato, matatalim daw na bato. Tinanong ko naman siya [Dennis] kung umuulan, hindi naman daw.

"Tapos, parang si JB, nag-dive. He jumped from the rock, then when he was about get up again to the rock formation, may malakas daw na alon na humampas sa kanya. So, humampas siya sa mga bato. He asked for help, so Dennis dove in, he tried to save JB. Nahawakan naman daw niya. But then nahampas silang pareho dun sa mga batuhan at nagkahiwalay sila."

Dennis and companions tried to revive JB but the head injury sustained by JB from getting slammed against the rocks rendered the first aid futile.

Trillo and Eigenmann, along with Bordajo and an unidentified companion, were brought to the Metropolitan Doctors Medical Clinic for treatment, according to the dzRH report. The two were allowed to leave the hospital at 4:30 p.m. A white van fetched the two celebrities, who covered their heads with a white blanket to avoid getting mobbed by curious onlookers.

Dennis has been discharged and is scheduled to return to Manila on Sep 10.

Dennis’ manager said "He’s very distraught, shocked. He was crying all the while I was talking to him. He was crying kasi parang he was asking, bakit nangyari ‘yon... He had a lot of questions. Parang he was very confused kasi they were just having fun, e, they were having a good time. Kasi it was his first time in Boracay, to go into vacation in Boracay. And he’s always looking forward to go there. So, naano lang, alam mo yung instant na..."

Gold Digging Epic Fail

So Chavit Singson, Deputy National Security Adviser, and his bodyguards beat up his common-law wife, Rachel “Che” Tiongson and her boyfriend Richard Catral.

According to Chavit, “mabait pa ako, hindi ko sila pinatay.” However, he is now singing a different tune. While he admits that Che and her boyfriend were beaten, it was not him who beat up them up but “others,” possibly referring to his bodyguards.

I’m trying to work up enough energy to sympathize, but I can’t because all the players in this sordid drama have the morals of an alleycat.

Chavit Singson is now facing charges of domestic violence and physical abuse.

Che Tiongson is an embarrassment to innocent and beautiful girls out there who “want to grow up and marry a rich man old enough to be my father/grandfather.” You were living in Corinthian Gardens and traveling all over the word, for heaven’s sake! EPIC FAIL at goldigging, Che.

Seriously though, we all know Che Tiongson finally had an epiphany that fresh and young meat always trumps the old and musty ones, goons and money be damned.

There’s Cogie Domingo.

Cristy Fermin is now saying Cogie did not know Che Tiongson was someone else’s mistress at that time. Che Tiongson seconded that Cogie Domingo was just her “barkada.”

I did not start reading Bulgar just yesterday, so I know Cristy Fermin is revising history to help Cogie along in his return to showbusiness. Che Tiongson is still trying to convince us na “hindi siya mahilig sa lalaki.”

What’s wrong with Cogie sleeping with a mistress of another man? Morally speaking, none. He’s stupid and doesn’t know any better than to let what’s in his pants rule him. Cogie could have anyone as his fuck buddy but he chose to poach on another man’s property. And that other man being rich, influential and powerful. EPIC FAIL at manwhoring, Cogie.

As for Chavit, I hope that one or two of the wild tigers he’s keeping as pets open their eyes one day and see Chavit for what he is – food. Let us all pray.

Chavit is not resigning or taking a leave from his government position because in his words “wala akong kasalanan. I’m the victim.” Iadya mo po kami sa mga taong makakapal ang mukha at in denial.

In the early days of the controversy, Chavit bragged that he took a picture of Che’s fuck buddy Richard Catral with his pants down. He took glee in saying on national TV that Richard’s privates were barely two inches.

Uhm, penises are known to retract in very cold weather. Cold shower, anyone? So I assume the privates of Che’s current manwhore tried its bestest to hide from Chavit’s wrath.

Anyway, Chavit is one to make fun of man’s small penis. If he can prove that he can choke a ‘ho with his large equipment, then carry on. However, if his tutuy is only a half inch or so bigger than the other man’s he doesn’t have bragging rights, does he?

Chavit is a big hypocrite whose world view remains in the Middle Ages. He calls himself a victim because he believes his mistresses are chattel. While he accuses his common-law wife of cheating, he himself has had several mistresses and has fathered forty-plus children.

Aside from being a hypocrite, makapal din mukha ni Chavit because he used the resources of the National Security Adviser’s office to spy on his wife. Chavit denied it but alam naman natin ang karakas ng mukha ni Chavit.

In the first preliminary hearing, both parties were given a gag order banning them from speaking to the media anything related to the case. I thought parents who really for the welfare of their children should have done this without prompting from the court.

Survivor Philippines Palau: Week 3 – Who Got Voted Out?

Maya, the pilot, is the castaway to be voted out in the third week of Survivor Philippines Palau.

Maya is one of my pre-game favorites because of her being a woman in the military field. Unfortunately that fact made her decide to fly under the radar. Too off the radar that she became invisible and appeared weak to her tribemates.

All is not lost because she’s bound for Isla Purgatoryo where she will go up against Justine for the right to stay in the island and a chance to make it to the merge.

Why was it not Troy? I need Troy to be out two episodes ago. He’s an ass, not even a charming ass. He’s a perv and a poseur. Mentalist - my big ass!

The editing made it looked like Mika and Amanda were adamant about voting out Troy and and were willing to take their chances in a tie. Alas, those two turned out to be the deciding votes that snuffed out Maya’s torch. For Amanda’s and Mika’s sake, let’s hope Shaun stay true to his word about booting out Troy and Vlad in favor of the two girls. Otherwise, they should have allowed the tie and let the chips fall where they may.

Speaking of tribal council, why is Paolo Bediones meddling too much in what’s going on in each tribe? Last I heard he’s just the host whose job is to make a play-by-play commentary during challenges and moderate the discussion during TC.

So, why is Paolo making inter-tribe commentaries such as what Charles and Marvin said about the other tribe? To create more artificial drama but I thought the tribes have no knowledge of each other’s camp life. SHUT.THE.FUCK.UP, PAOLO!

Isla Purgatoryo: So technically Carol, the School Teacher, was the first castaway voted out of Palau. True to Justine’s words “pinakain ang bisita dahil mamaya ng konti uuwi na rin siya ng Pilipinas.”

By the way, did any of you notice that Justine has allowed herself to exhibit “gay mannerisms and speech pattern” now that she’s all by her lonesome. Jumbo doesn’t count because what could the dog do or say? Judge her?

Reward Challenge: Koror won the challenge and got a sumptuous breakfast feast for their efforts.

Immunity Challenge:
Koror is on a roll because they too won this challenge, huge thanks to Marvin. Marvin is my eye candy in this season, but he is turning out to be capable, too capable, which could put a huge target on his back sooner or later.

Troy, I would like to see that cut-off penis of yours now served on a platter. Promise mo yan. Three Korors were able to lift Jumbolado to the finish line. They didn’t exactly lift him up but, you know, that push and pull strategy also worked.

Vlad: Geesh, what an alpha male. Mika and Amanda have more claim to the title than you do.

Charles’ personality is slowly coming out so from being a potential first bootee, the names coming out now are Tara’s and Marvin’s. Charles brings the funny, especially this week’s episodes.

Tara, down girl. I know it’s hard being surrounded by all those testosterone, but you can get some when you come home in the next few episodes.

Charles: Get over yourself. Tara switched to Suzuki and Charles because you turned her down? Please, bitch.

All others – meh. I don’t have an opinion because they are either useless or no personalities.

Mikey Arroyo: How Do You Earn Millions?

Mikey Arroyo and his brother Dato are in the center of a controversy regarding their unexplained wealth.

I never once read from Francisco J. Colayco’s Bulgar column “Easy Money” (Pera Mo Palaguin Mo) the advice “get elected for public office” as a sure way to become a multi-millionaire.

This is so obvious and has become a tradition. Of course, not all public/government official does this. Yun lang mga ganid sa pera at kapangyarihan.

Apparently, matapang ang hiya ni Mickey to appear on TV via Unang Hirit to explain his side of the controvery.

Click the YouTube videos below to hear how Mikey Arroyo wormed his way out of the current controversy he’s in and whether he succeeded.

I’m still not decided whether it was stupidity or sheer arrogance that made Mickey Arroyo appear on a live TV program to answer/clear the allegations regarding his wealth that dramatically increased over a short period of time.

Kudos to Winnie Monsod and Arnod Clavio for not treating Mickey Arroyo with kid gloves, thereby allowing us to see that Mikey’s Mama has not trained him sufficiently well on how to lie. What he learned from his Papa is, if no answer comes to mind just say “ask my lawyer.”

’Ina! Hindi man lang natakot humarap kay Winnie Monsod na hindi handa sa sagot nya. Uminom ka naman ng kapeng barako, yung hindi dumaan sa coffee maker, para nerbiyusin ka naman ng konti.

So how did Mikey Arroyo earn his millions? According to him, he got it from generous wedding gifts and excess campaign donations. Campaign donations. What a moron. “As far as I’m concerned.” Bobo. I think it’s safe to say that Mikey Arroyo fell out of the idiot tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Another way to earn millions is through lotto. Who among us did not receive that chain e-mail alleging that the winners of the multi-million peso lotto jackpots are Mikey and Dato? The lotto are draws are said to be manipulated to make it appear that there is a winner(s) when there’s none. Kung totoo ito, hindi sana kayo buhayin ng madlang Pilipino.

Mga ganid! There’s already a special place for you and your family in hell. Enjoy your millions there.

From Your Lips to God's Ears

From DJ Mo's Twitter: "Mark my word, let me proclaim, I believe Rufa Mae Quinto is engaged to Mikey Arroyo. Who wants to bet I'm wrong?"

UPDATE: Rufa Mae has reacted to DJ Mo's Twitter. According to her, she's sad. No outright denial that it is not Mikey Arroyo.

Magdilang anghel ka, DJ Mo. Kung totoo ito, so malamang natuhog ni Rufa Mae ang mag-ama?

I will get to RepresentaTHIEVE Mikey Arroyo later on how stupid he is that he can’t even manage to loot the country’s coffers and lie about it with a straight face.

Sometimes when I watch DJ Mo on TV I wish he’d shut up, but overall I like him because he says what’s on his mind regardless of whoever it is. Remember DJ Mo’s catfight with Cristy Fermin?

I came across this exchange between DJ Mo and Cristy Fermin on 89.9 in some blog. I don’t know whether this is real or imagined, but it brings the funny.

Fermin : Is it true you called me stupid?
Mo : Yes, i did say you're stupid
Fermin : blah blah blah (kept on shouting at him)
MO : Ate Cristy
Fermin : Don't call me ate
Mo : Tita
Fermin : Don't call me tita
Mo : Miss Fermin
Fermin : Don't call me Miss
MO : Okay, Shrek
Fermin : Why did you call me shrek?
Mo : Because you're not giving me any options......... come on..........

Okay, on to DJ Mo. DJ Mo has been forever a thorn on the side of Rufa Mae because although they belong to same Sunday showbiz talk show (Showbiz Central), DJ Mo is not above implicating Rufa Mae in scandals and controversies such as her affair with Hayden Kho and her alleged sex video with Hayden Kho.

I don’t think Rufa Mae and DJ Mo share the same screen or segment on their show. That’s how unamicable they are. Neither would resign, so Rufa Mae is forced to see DJ Mo’s mug at least once a week when all she probably wanted to do is stuff him inside a medium-sized luggage (he’d fit in there) and never let him go.

I’m still wondering what Rufa Mae is doing in Showbiz Central except magpa cute and magpakita ng cleavage. I swear she’s not adding anything to the show. Raymond Gutierrez, the not popular twin, I can tolerate even though I wish that I could stuff his annoying eyeglasses in his mouth. I swear, gay, it’s not flattering with your fat cheeks. It’s Richard who has the high cheekbones.

What is Rufa Mae doing in show business? To give hope to girls with big boobs and small brains that they too can enter show business, use the showbiz connection to boost their profile and land a rich papa.

Yeah, Okay. So Shut the Fuck Up.

Rufa Mae Quinto is engaged and plans to marry her US-based fiancé, who she claims to be from Spanish royalty, in 2010.

Um, that was fast, but apparently the two have known each other for 15 years.

The generosity of the fiancé also allowed Rufa Mae to acquire a P 30 M property in San Francisco.

Rufa Mae has already divulged so much information about her engagement and her plans after the wedding, but not the identity of her fiancé.

After being a beard to Eric Santos, her failed long-distance romance with some Mexican guy based in Hong Kong, her faux romance with Jon Avila (the nerve) and her yet-to-be debuted sex video with Hayden Kho (thanks, Bong Revilla), Rufa Mae has stayed quiet.

For a while there, I was at peace with Rufa Mae off the radar. Now she’s back to talking about her suddenly rosy lovelife.

I want her to shut the fuck up already. Like, enough information already. Does she have millions of fans who are interested in the state of her lovelife and finances?

I feel like the story of this alleged fiancé wil turn out to be for the purpose of publicity, or Mike Arroyo and/or Mickey Arroyo). I hope Rufa Mae does get married, settle in the USA and travel the world with her future husband like she stated. This way, I won’t see much of her on TV or read about her on my favorite tabloid newspapers.

Also, can the producers of Darna kill Rufa Mae’s character already? I can’t even remember the name of her character. That’s how useless and unmemorable she is in that fantaserye. Hindi siya kawalan, pwede ba? Maganda pa rin ang Darna kahit wala siya dun.

Sa totoo lang, her shtick is getting tired. It’s not a shtick at all. She’s really boba na malaki ang boobs. I unfortunately saw Rufa Mae compete in the Pinoy Henyo (how ironic) segment of Eat Bulaga. If the TV screen allowed me to reach in and punch her in the face, I would have. She’s not making it up talaga; she’s boba talaga.

Asian Drama Series Review: Shining Inheritance/Brilliant Legacy

Synopsis: This will be focusing on the love and trials of the 20 year old generation. Go Eun Sung's life is similar to Cinderella's. After her father died, her step-mother, Baek Sung Hee, took away all of her assets and her younger brother, Eun Woo, suddenly disappears without a trace. Eun Sung preservers and works really hard to become a chef at a food company. The grandson of the food company, Sun Woo Hwan, notices Eun Sung and falls in love with her.

Characters:

Han Hyo Joo as Go Eun Sung
Lee Seung Ki as Sun Woo Hwan
Bae Soo Bin as Park Jun Se
Moon Chae Won as Yoo Seung Mi

Rating: Don't Miss It!

Spoilers after the Jump!
.

The only similarity of Shining Inheritance/Brilliant Legacy to Cinderella is the father who went missing, and the evil stepmother and stepsister.

I don’t usually watch family dramas, but I found Shining Inheritance to my liking – both story line and characters.

For a rich girl Eun Sung turned out to be quite resourceful and not helpless at all. With luck thrown in, in the form of the grandmother who turned out to be the owner of a large food company, and Jun Se, a restaurant owner who she first met at the airport upon arrival from the US, Eun Sung was able to overcome the hardship that came from her stepmother and stepsister’s evil acts.

I initially preferred Jun Se for Eun Sung because Hwan, the boy whom Eun Sung accidentally exchange bags with in the airplane and who turned out to be the spoiled and arrogant grandson of the grandmother.

When he first appeared, Hwan looked morose and was unsmiling. Not sympathetic at all. But he had me at his first smile. The smile really transformed his face – from unattractive to suddenly so hot. Plus, he has his own drama and issues that explain the way he acts and the way he threats people.

Hwan makes a transformation for the better so he became likable towards the middle and final parts of the drama. Of course, there are also the kilig moments of Eun Sung and Hwan. Don't expect passionate kissing because I don't think many Korean dramas have many of those.

Jun Se is the epitome of “good guys finished last.” He was the first to meet Eun Sung and his character remained true to the end but he still did not get the girl in the end.

The stepmother and stepsister, Seung Mi, are truly vile. Their lies, the stepmom’s greed for money and the stepsister’s obsession with Hwan, made Eun Sung life miserable and that of her autistic brother.

As usual, the secondary characters stole the show for me. Grandmother who is very principled in the way she runs her corporation and threats her employees, and Eun Sung’s autistic brother, an “idiot-savant” who is a genius with the piano. The brother is a breath of fresh air, and the actor who played the brother is truly convincing.

Here We Go Again: Marian Rivera and her Primadonna Ways

Talks about Marian Rivera having an “attitude,” a bad one, continue.

The most recent one is Marian acting a primadonna on the set of her top-rated primetime show on GMA-7, Darna.

Marian reportedly complained to a staff member about the muddy location in Bulacan at the set of Darna. "Di ba sinabi ko sa inyo na ayaw ko nang maputik?" was Marian’s complaint. The staff member carried Marian to a less muddy area to avert a blow up from the Kapuso star.

Also during a taping of Darna, Marian was said to have uttered "Dumating na ang reyna na walang bulaklak sa tenga."

Who else wears a flower on their ear? Carla Abellana. She’s stars in the TV soap “Rosalinda,” a telenobela character with a penchant for wearing a red rose on her ear.

There also a story going around that Marian refused to share her dressing room with Carla because she wanted to all the space to herself.

So what if Marian Rivera has an attitude? I’m a casual fan, so I don’t really care if Marian is the next Mother Theresa or the spawn of the devil. If I see her somewhere in person, I doubt I’d want to get her autograph or have my picture taken with her. Sucks for the avid fans, though. You know those kinds of fans.

I’m reminded of what my friends and I say when we see a beautiful girl. “She’s pretty.” Oo, pero hindi siya masaya. Broken family yan sigurado. We’d all laugh, of course, because it was meant as a joke. You can say “ah, you’re just a jealous hater; you’re bitter; you’re sourgraping, etc. However, underneath that joke lies the maxim that keeps us from jumping from the nearest bridge, hating all people, generally hating life: “A person can’t have it all.”

I guess the universe has a way of evening out things. Marian Rivera is very pretty, famous, rich and has a hot boyfriend, but “masama ugali nya” at broken family siya.

As I said I don’t if Marian Rivera’s face doesn’t match her character. What I’m confused about is why Marian’s maldita moments continue to come out. Marian Rivera is one of Kapuso Networks’ prized possessions, so why are they letting negative publicity ruin their star’s image?

Me thinks, Marian and her management start giving out more envelopes or making those envelopes thicker to shut down all these bad publicities. Money effectively shuts up reporters. Ask Anabelle Rama.

Survivor Philippines Palau: Week 2 – Who Got Voted Out?

Schoolteacher Carol was the second castaway booted out from Survivor Philippines Palau.

Who didn’t see this coming? Carol stood out like a sore thumb in her tribe, Koror, because she never left her classroom. Many a castaway have been voted out for being a know-it-all.

Carol should have been gone before Justine, the Beauty Queen, but was saved by a stupid immunity bracelet.
.
Now Carol is on her way to Isla Purgatoryo, where she will have a face-off with first bootee, Justine, to determine the castaway who will get a second chance at P3 M and the title of sole survivor.

Paolo Bediones calls Isla Purgatoryo twist, but purists like me call this bullshit. Once a castaway is voted out by his/her fellow castaways, and his/her fire is extinguished there must be no second chance at coming back.

We’re only in the second season and there’s no other twist that could have been introduced? There’s a perfectly good reason why a castaway is voted out, either he’s useless, has no clue (to play the mental or social aspect of the game) or annoying. If you’re one or all of those, then you need to get off my TV yesterday.

Reward Challenge: I know Koror finally won something. I can’t comment since I wasn’t able to watch this episode. Fell asleep. The next episode, I see Carol acting like she’s useful by attempting to fish in shallow waters. Her fellow castaways are on to her, but she’s clueless. No clue, no fish.

Immunity Challenge: HAHHAHA… Mga pinoy pikon at namemersonal. I’m looking at you alpha boy, Vlad. I like Suzuki so far so I was kinda tingly and giggly when Suzuki held Vlad’s head under water for a few seconds. I wish it could have been a few seconds more. It would hurt Vlad, only his ego. LOL

After watching season after season of Survivor, the US edition, I can feel a tribe shuffle coming. I don’t like this kind of twist but the producers have to create drama and excitement because the game is becoming predictable, with Airai continuously trouncing the lame Koror tribe.

Louie needs to go first because he is targeting my eye candy, Marvin.

DOJ Files Murder Charges Against Ruby Rose Father-in-Law, 5 Others

The Department of Justice will file murder charges against six men linked to the killing of Ruby Rose Barrameda-Jimenez, including her father-in-law, Manuel Jimenez Jr.

The DOJ panel found probable cause to indict Ruby Rose’s father-in-law, Manuel Jimenez Jr., his brother Lope Jimenez, Manuel Montero, Eric Fernandez, Lennard Descalso, and Robert Ponce.

But an investigating panel recommended the dismissal of the complaint against her husband, Manuel Jimenez III, from whom Ruby Rose was estranged. The couple was said to be engaged in a bitter custody battle for their two young daughters when she disappeared.

Aside from Ruby Rose’s estranged husband, Manuel, the panel recommended the dismissal of the complaint against a Rudy dela Cruz, for lack of evidence.

After Ruby Rose was killed, her body was placed in a cement-sealed steel container which was thrown into the sea off Navotas Fish Port, where the Jimenezes own property. The body might never have been found if a man claiming to be an accomplice to the crime had not told authorities of the exact location of the body.

The case would be lodged before the Navotas Regional Trial Court.

Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera said the investigating panel based its recommendation on the affidavit submitted by eye witness Manuel Montero, who came out in the open last June to tell the Barrameda family the location of Ruby Rose’s body.

Montero alleged that his employer, Lope Jimenez, Ruby Rose's uncle, ordered him and the other suspects to carry out Ruby Rose's killing because she supposedly brought shame to the Jimenez family.

Montero will remain as an accused until the court grants his motion to be discharged as one of the suspects and be allowed to turn state witness.

The DOJ panel’s recommendation came as a surprise to the Jimenez family, according to their legal counsel, Mario Aguinaldo.

"Si Mr. Jimenez (Jr.) was shocked because he was really not involved in the crime. But his son (Jimenez III, also known as Third) felt vindicated. So the family really has mixed emotions right now," Aguinaldo told GMANews.TV in a phone interview.

He added that Jimenez Jr. is prepared to face the case in court and debunk Montero’s allegations.

Devanadera said the DOJ would also ask the court to discharge Montero from the list of the accused so he could be a state witness.

Geneva, Why So Glum?

Protein deprivation will do that to you. I kid. I Kid.

I just notice that models I see in a lot of “Go, Vegan/Vegetarian” ad campaigns don’t smile. Example, Geneva Cruz’s picture above. Does doing away with meat also get rid of one’s humor?

Aside from the lack of humor, the vegans/vegetarians that I seem to hear from are those who make you feel less of a human being for refusing to badge from the top of the food chain.

If meat-eaters are disgusting, compassionless omnivores, what is a vegan/vegetarian? I looked it up in my favorite online dictionary, the Urban Dictionary, and it says a vegan is a person who kills fruits and vegetables; annoying skinny fucks who refuse to eat meat or any other animal by product.

A vegetarian is a bad hunter; someone who survives by consuming not food, but the stuff that food (i.e livestock) eats; a person that is too much of a pussy to eat meat.

Vegans/vegetarians are sanctimonious, moralistic assholes who can’t keep their lifestyle choices to themselves. Well, I don’t believe veganism turned them into assholes. They were asshole, shitty people to begin with even before they decided to be vegans/vegetarians.

I also don’t believe all vegans/vegetarians are skinny. Case in point: Yasmine Kurdi, another local celebrity that we see on PETA ad campaigns. Yasmine is a proud and out vegetarian, but I guess chocolates and cakes don’t count as meat?

Ms Venezuela is Ms Universe 2009

Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2009 at the Atlantis Resort Paradise Island in the Bahamas Monday (Manila time).

Stefania Fernandez bested 83 candidates from around the world to become the 58th Miss Universe.

It was also the first time in the pageant's history that the same nation won the contest for two years in a row. Last year's Miss Universe was Dayana Mendoza from Venezuela.

Ms. Philippines Pamela Bianca Manalo failed to make the top 15. There were also no other Asian candidates in the top 15.

ABS-CBN was so building up Ms Philippines on the run to Monday's Ms Universe, tapos not even top 15? What a huge letdown.

Miss Dominican Republic Ada Aimee De la Cruz was first runner-up and Miss Kosovo Gona Dragusha was second runner-. The third and fourth runners-up were Miss Australia Rachael Finch and Miss Puerto Rico Mayra Matos Perez.

Fernandez outsmarted the four top finalists during the question-and-answer portion. Asked by judge Andre Leon Talley what women can do to overcome obstacles in achieving their goals, the Venezuelan beauty answered: “I believe that nowadays we, women, have overcome many obstacles and I do believe that we have reached the same level as men have. We must realize there are no longer barriers amongst us.”

The Miss Congeniality award was won by Miss China Wang Jingyao. Miss Thailand Chutima Durongdej was voted Miss Photogenic.

The beauty pageant was hosted by “Access Hollywood” co-anchor Billy Bush and “Celebrity Apprentice” star Claudia Jordan. Rapper Flo Rida, singers David Guetta and Kelly Rowland and reality star Heidi Montag also performed during the coronation night.

Survivor Philippines Palau: Week 1 – Who Got Voted Out?

Survivor Philippines Palau castaway Justine, the Beauty Queen, the first transgendered/transsexual contestant of Survivor Philippines also got the distinction of being the first voted out in Survivor Philippines Season 2.

Did the discussion at Tribal Council focused too much on Justine’s sexuality? She’s a person, not a freak so however it came about that she’s had a penis in a former life should have had just a passing mention. Once again, it underscores transgendered people being a curiosity instead of ordinary people.

Anyway, it was too early in the game to get emotionally invested in any of the contestants, so I didn’t care whether it was Justine or Charles who got booted out.

However, it’s not too early to start feeling the hate on some of the contestants. I would have liked to see Tara, the Taray Queen, get voted off to shut her up. She and her sister whatshername from Season 1 would have been the first sisters on reality TV to get voted off first during their respective seasons. Tara, Maricel Soriano called. She want's her title back.

Tara talks too much, and in an affected way, that I find irritating. And hello she’s too emotional for this game. She went off on poor Charles, who is just too stupid to know better than to be truthful about the name he’s going to write down on the parchment paper.

FYI, Tara. If you ask a question and you demand a truthful answer, then don’t expect to like the answer. Shut up, will you? There’s someone who’s going to be voted off every week and expect your name to come up every time.

I hope Airai loses immunity next week so I can hope that Troy, the Mentalist, gets his comeuppance for being so feeling gwapo. Pwede bang dakpin ito ng pulis kasi manyak siya?

I thought mentalists are entertaining, but I’m thinking it would be entertaining to see Troy black and blue courtesy of the male family members of Mika, the Chef from Palawan.

So, how awesome is Amanda, the Construction Worker? She’s one of my pre-game faves and she’s turning out to be capable, survival wise. Contestants like Amanda are usually not too long for this game because they are viewer as a threat and voted off at the first opportunity, unless of course Amanda turns out to be thinking player who’s got her social and mental game.

Another person who I think will see her torch snuffed out soon is Carol, the Teacher. Hello, Carol wala ka sa classroom! Hindi mo estudyante or anak ang mga kasama mo sa island. Carol can’t simply read a room and keep her opinions to herself.

Next week, the twist. I hope it’s not someone who got voted out coming back to have a second chance. If that’s the case, what happened to “once your torch is out, you are too?”

Willie Revillame For Senator?

Blame Manny Villar if this desecration comes true. Punish him for this idiocy by not voting for him.

Willie Revillame is currently on hiatus after being deluged with protests and criticism over his rude and arrogant remark about the late President Corazon Aquino’s cortege being show live on his show, Wowowee.

The Aquino family has accepted Willie Revillame’s apology, but certain sectors are still after his head. The intention was good, but why be rude and arrogant about it? Kasi money can’t buy you good manners and breeding.

Willie’s spin doctor, Cristy Fermin, is also on the offensive, devoting a portion of her Bulgar column regarding Willie’s status almost daily.

According to doc Cristy, several ads are on hold while Willie is on leave. Many fans are sending her texts and mails voicing their impatience over Willie’s continued absence on Wowowee. If you’re born yesterday, please feel free to believe all these lie telling.

Manny Villar has also come to Willie’s rescue, offering a senatorial seat for Willie if he decides not to come back on his show.

Seryoso ka? Parang ang daling pumili ng kandidato para sa isang mahalagang posisyon sa gobyerno. Kailangan ba ng senado ng court jester? Hindi pa ba sapat ang estatwa sa Senado na si Lito Lapid?

The network where Willie works has exonerated him, saying that the insertion of the live feed was a miscommunication. Oo na miscommunication na. However, the issue is Willie’s lack of respect for others in the way he comes across through words and actions. How do you explain that?

Anabelle Rama Responds to Dismissal of Libel Case Against Wilma Galvante

Anabelle Rama has called time out from “playing” with her Wilma Galvante voodoo dolls to put out a statement regarding the dismissal of the libel case she filed against Wilma Galvante, the Vice President of Entertainment at GMA 7.

From reading her statement, I’m inclined to believe that Anabelle Rama has finally crossed that line into mental illness. But she’s not yet there; she’s on the brink. I believe Anabelle Rama will finally lose her sh*t when Richard goes to jail for killing his personal assistant, Nomar Pardo, in a vehicular accident as a result of reckless driving, or when Wilma Galvante emerges victorious in her P7 M damage suit against her, whichever comes first.

Her statement once again shows Anabelle Rama’s arrogance, rudeness and her belief that she and the Gutierrez clan are the only sons and daughters of God. Every body else are gnats, or thorns on her side.

I am encouraging Anabelle Rama to take advantage of Wilma Galvante’s move to cancel the TRO and injunction filed against her. Go to every newspaper, entertainment news program and radio show in the country to reveal Wilma Galvante’s skeletons in her closet. That will teach Wilma Galvante not to mess with the Queen Bee, Anabelle Rama. (wink, wink)

Anabelle Rama’s statement via PEP:

"I just heard that my case against Wilma was dismissed. Obvious ba? The wife of Wilma’s lawyer is the assistant prosecutor of Quezon City.

“I was advised by my friends not to file my case in Quezon City dahil walang mangyayari. I believed the justice system aandar sa case ko. Umpisa pa lang ang laban. Mahaba ang lalakbayin sa kasong ito. I will file motion of reconsideration para i-review yung case.

"I filed slander because sinisiraan ako ni Wilma sa talent ko na si JC de Vera na sinusulot niya sa akin. At yung pangungurakot niya sa akin. Clear na clear ang panghihingi niya ng dollars at mga bags. Five years na akong kinokotongan.

"Ako’y nag-e-enjoy sa hearing. Meron tayong Trial Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

"Ano ‘yan, harassment? Or pananakot? So ngayon, free na ako magpa-presscon at magpa-interview.

"Isang hearing pa, lang natin sumurender ka na? Di pa ako nag-enjoy yung last hearing. Nabitin ako, excited na akong umupo sa witness stand para sabihin ko ang lahat ng baho mo!

Oral Defamation Case Filed by Annabel Rama Against Wilma Galvante Dismissed

Moneyger and monster mom Anabelle Rama is cooped up in her secret room “playing” with her Wilma Galvente voodoo doll because the Office of the Quezon City Prosecutor Office dismissed the Grave Oral Defamation or Grave Slander filed by Anabelle Rama against Wilma Galvante, Vice President for Entertainment at GMA Network.

The Prosecutor’s Office cited “lack of probable cause” in dismissing the complaint.

The case stemmed from Rama’s allegations that Galvante maligned her and undermined her role as manager to JC during an incident on 16 Feb 2009 inside Galvante’s office at GMA 7.

HAHAHA. Strike two for the “esteemed” (heaping dose of sarcasm here) Gutierrez clan. Richard Gutierrez lost his P25 M libel suit against PEP, which the family is not above using whenever they have a statement they want to make public. And now Anabelle’s grave slander suit against Wilma Galvante.

The third strike would either come from: Wilma Galvante winning her P7 M damage suit against Anabelle or Richard Gutierrez being found liable for causing the car accident in Cavite that killed his personal assistant, Nomar Pardo.

The following statements from Galvante were neither derogatory nor insulting, according to the QC Prosecutor’s Office:

"Tingnan mo? Tingnan mo kung ano ang ginagawa ng manager mo?"

"Hindi kayo puwedeng tumanggi sa show at kung tumanggi kayo, puwede kayo mademanda."

"They were just tolerating Annabelle, because when she didn’t like a project, she would pull out her talents pag malapit na ang show. Pero sobra na."

"Happy ka ba sa manager mo? Ilan taon pa ba ang kontrata mo sa kanya?

"May kopya ka ba ng contract mo with Annabelle? Puwede ko bang makita?"

"If there is anything I can help you with, just tell me."

Asst. City Prosecutor Torralba ruled, "Contrary to the theory of the complainant [Annabelle] that said statements are defamatory, insulting, malicious, and tend to prejudice complainant in her reputation, office or trade, business or means of livelihood, the undersigned finds nothing derogatory nor insulting to the complainant but rather finds the said statements to be more of a reminder to JC that they could be held liable in case they fail to comply with their contract with the network than a malicious or defamatory statement.

Survivor Philippines Palau: Season 2

The Republic of Palau was the chosen location for Survivor Philippines Season 2. An island nation lying in the Pacific Ocean, it is located at 500 miles east of the Philippines and 2,000 miles south of Tokyo.

Hosted by Paolo Bediones, Survivor Philippines Season 2 will premiere on August 17.

Pre-game Favorites

Amanda Colley Van Cooll, the lady construction worker, and Maya Segovia, mother, military pilot and mountaineer. Just because these two ladies seem to be cool, with careers in male-dominated fields.

Marvin Kiefer because we have to have an eye candy to make up for those annoying castaways. Instead of throwing a hard object at the TV, just turn your gaze on your eye candy.

Early hate

Louie Ang. Louis calls himself a “chickboy” and “bad boy”. Enough said.

Vlad Nesas. Vlad calls himself an “alpha male”, a dominant guy who always gets what he wants. A man who calls himself an alpha male is a tool. Trust.

He has probably sold everything direct-selling business could offer – from shoes and clothes to cosmetics.

Cris Bolado retired from professional basketball in 2003 because of injury. Since then, he has kept himself busy coaching in basketball clinics all over the country.

MAYA SEGOVIA
32 YRS. OLD, MILITARY OFFICER
BATANGAS

“I’m a survivor in the truest sense. I survived all life’s challenges. I can accomplish anything inspite of all the personal problems I’m going through. I’m a mom, a military officer, a military pilot and a business woman. I can do multi-tasking and get the work done well.”

Captain Maya Segovia, a military officer and a pilot of the Philippine Air Force has always thought of herself as a man trapped in a woman’s body.

“Kahit na emotional pa rin ako bilang babae, kaya kong makipagsabayan sa mga lalaki,” the mother of two said.

Maya has been a pilot for seven years and she believes that it is her destiny to be a part of the profession ruled by men.

“Flying is really one of the things that make me happy,” she added.

Always competitive and physically active, Maya has been a mountaineer for 16 years and has also participated in triathlons.

She is also a taekwondo black-belter.

SHAUN RODRIGUEZ
GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE
ZAMBALES

“Naranasan ko nang ma-bankrupt dati dahil sa negosyo as in wala natirang pera sa akin tapos ang dami kong utang. Pero hindi ako nawalan ng pag-asa.. namasukan ako sa isang shipping line. 2 months pa lang ako nagte-training, kinuha na kong waiter sa barko ng isang international cruise, hanggang sa unti-unti, nabayaran ko ang utang ko. Ginawa ko lahat ng best ko at hindi ako sumuko. Survivor Ako!”

Shaun works as a Public Relations staff at the City Council’s Office in Manila where he is engaged in dental and medical missions and feeding programs among other public service affairs.

“I have really become sympathetic to the plight of the less fortunate,” Shaun said. “Masarap tumulong sa mahihirap lalo na pag na-a-appreciate nila ang kahit kaunting tulong na naibigay mo sa kanila.”

To prepare himself for Survivor Philippines: Palau, Shaun focused on improving his endurance by running for hours from the Quirino Grandstand to Roxas Boulevard.

TROY PEREZ

MANILA

“Since my childhood, it’s been my obsession to be different from my playmates, classmates and friends through magic and real life adventures. In joining this game, it will further bolster my longing for more adventure. It will open a wider horizon for the fulfillment of my dreams.”

It is second nature for Troy Perez to entertain people, the very reason why he got into performing as a magician or, as he prefers to be called, a mentalist.

After taking up BS Biology in Manila, he landed a job in a bank and his mentalist tricks came in handy as he usually got invited to corporate shows.

“Bago pa man ‘yung show, I practiced remote viewing or visualization,” Troy said. “I already imagined the situations I could possibly face and my reaction to those situations,” he added.

JEF GAITAN
22 YRS. OLD, PRINT AND COMMERCIAL MODEL
LAGUNA

“I’m a real Survivor because I survived on my own in real life. I took the risk to be independent at a very young age. I survived growing up in the city alone. I became a parent to myself and a teenager at the same time.”

Jef Gaitan may be sweet, friendly and approachable but her charming demeanor and her stunning looks should not be construed as signs of weakness.

VLAD NESAS
24 YRS. OLD, PROFESSIONAL MODEL
LAS PINAS

“I consider myself a real survivor because I have been through a lot of challenges in my life. Growing up, I always felt insecure. Pakiramdam ko ang pangi-pangit ko. This is the reason why I improved my body, my looks, pati na ang dating ko sa mga tao.Tingnan mo naman ngayon, hindi lang ako nag-improve, model pa ako ngayon.”

Vlad Nesas calls himself an “alpha male”, a dominant guy who always gets what he wants. He is confident that this is going to be his ace in winning the title of Pinoy Sole Survivor.

Vlad is a graduate of Industrial Design, Major in Fine Arts at the University of Sto. Tomas where he was also a varsity swimmer.

He considers Joining Survivor Philippines: Palau as his major test of character.

“Kapag nakayanan ko itong Survivor, made na made na talaga ako” Vlad said smugly. “To prepare, talagang pinaganda ko ang katawan ko… sinanay ko ang sarili ko sa hirap. Grabe, six times a week na nga ang pagwo-work out ko. Kaya ba ng iba yun?”

He also knows that the cash prize and the title would drastically change his life, that’s why he is giving his all in the game.

“Hindi ako nagpapatalo. Hindi ako madaling mauto o mapaikot. Hindi rin ako takot manggago. Kung nabilib sila kay Marlon noon… well, hindi pa nila nakikilala si Vlad!” he said.

The beauty of these two beautiful Philippine beaches made her fell in love with the ocean and the outdoors.

“We have a hill in Coron with a cross at the top; it’s about seven hundred steps. I run there back and forth every day for my endurance,” Mika added.
