Iza Calzado Leaves GMA for ABS-CBN

Iza Calzado has foreseen that she would soon be playing mother roles to Bea Binene and Barbie Forteza, so she has said goodbye to GMA before that happens.

Iza Calzado has signed a three-year contract with the Kapamilya network, the rival of her former studio GMA-7, the Kapuso network. Stars are station hopping, hoping that their next employer will be the ONE to give them that elusive fame and fortune beyond their wildest dreams.

Party Pilipinas is losing an ahjumma, but hopefully we will soon see that ahjumma bumping and grinding on ASAP!

I'm not saying Iza is not pretty. It's just that she looks like she's overdoing it with the Optein and forgetting to consume food that her stomach can actually turn into vitamins and minerals for her body. The result is that instead of being considered for roles that Marian Rivera and Rhian Ramos have rejected, Iza is accompanying Jose Manalo and Wally as they scour the Philippines for down-on-their-luck Filipinos whose lives' goal is to be chosen for "All For One, One For All." I'm not saying that's bad; what's bad about charity?

Well, Gretchen Barretto is getting lead starring roles in ABS-CBN teleseryes. Iza looks to be the same age as Gretchen Barretto, so maybe Iza's star will shine brighter with ABS-CBN.

Derek Ramsey Is A Married Man?

Gabriela has found a mascot major advocate for the divorce bill--DEREK RAMSEY!

Derek Ramsey is still trying to extend his 15 minutes by refusing to categorically say YES or NO on the issue of whether he is already married.

TV Patrol showed a marriage certificate showing Derek Ramsey, 26, married Marie Christine Jolly, 21, on April 3, 2002 in Bulacan.

Derek Ramsey underestimated the zealousness of ABS-CBN in one-upping its rival networks, TV5 and GMA-7. He probably never imagined that his own studio would out him for the sake of ratings and news exclusivity. As Manny Pacquiao said, "now you know."

The personal matter, as Derek called it in his exclusive interview with Ginger Conejero, is now in the hands of his lawyers. Translation, the marriage is in the process being annulled.

Derek will be talking about the "personal matter" in the coming months, hopefully with a reporter from either GMA-7 or TV5, just to beat ABS-CBN at their own game.

Derek was accompanied by her territorial supportive girlfriend Angelica Panganiban in the interview.

I wonder if Angelica was in the know of Derek's civil status from the beginning, or she found out just as we, the public, did.

Angelica was probably still under the illusion that her bf is the country's most sought after bachelor when she was bitch fighting with Erich Gonzales, who allegedly went out on a date with Derek.

Unbeknown to Angelica she was was in the same league as Gretchen Baretto, mistress extraordinaire, when they were fighting over single, beefcake Derek. Laughable.

Lastly, I never thought Derek was in his late 20s. Bitch is 35 years old and it shows.

Claudine Barretto vs Angelica Panganiban Is Heating Up

Ready your popcorn, sit back and relax because the catfight between Claudine Barretto and Angelica Panganiban that started on Twitter has all indications of going all the way to court.

Angelica allegedly made in known to anyone who wants to listen that Claudine committed an act of homewreakery is with Martin Castro, the best friend of Derek Ramsay and a new friend of Claudine's husband Raymart Santiago.

Angelica is also on Claudine's hit list because Angelica apparently has many things so say about Gretchen Barretto, not all of them flattering - well before they became besties.

Claudine's proof of Angelica's backstabbing ways:

Angelica on what she really thinks of Claudine and Gretchen:

Kabit is Gretchen Barretto, so is Claudine, if she is indeed fuck buddies with Derek Ramsay's married besties.

Angelica was cold on Claudine's attempts to talk it out with her. I really think Claudine should have suggested that she and Angelica have it out via Twitter since Angelica seemed to have a strong affinity to this form of communication.

The cast of characters in this drama is growing - there's Angelica's boyfriend Derek Ramsay, Claudine's husband Raymart Santiago, the center of it all, a certain Martin Castro, Johnny Manahan of Star Magic, and Gretchen Barretto.

Johnny Manahan on the former ward's plan to sue his current ward:

The Plastic War

I'm not talking about the battle over who can sell the most Tupperware products. I'm talking about a brewing catfight between Mikaela Bilbao vs Gretchen Barreto and Pops Fernandez.

But first who is Mikaela Bilbao? If you tuned in on the first few episodes of the current Celebrity Duets, you wouldn't have missed this lady in a tanga costume, doing what I think is singing. As soon I saw her face full frontal, I thought "the Helen of Troy of our generation." Later I found out that she is the genius behind "Philosophy" by Mikaela Bilbao, a beauty and wellness center. Who knew, right?

Alas, Mikaela dropped out of the competition because according to her doctor, the intense heat from the studio's kleig lights is bad for her complexion. No, according to Mikaela the contest is putting too much pressure on her plastic mug on her health.

Well, anyway...

The root of the catfight is money, or in this case the promise thereof, and it all started from a text sent to Ana Abiera, a close friend of Gretchen Barreto and Nadia Montenegro.

Gretchen Barreto and Nadia Montenegro are former best buds. Nadia Montenegro is now an endorser of Philosophy for their weight-loss technology.

Mikaela got embroiled in the controversy because she "allegedly" was the sender of the malicious text.

The connection is with Dodie Puno, the brother of DILG secretary Ronnie Puno; the alleged new rich man in Gretchen Barreto's life (not that Tonyboy Cojuangco is out of the picture); and the executive director of the Road Board, the agency handling the dispensing, that is supposedly the responsible dispensing, of billions of pesos of road users' tax.

I didn't know Gretchen and Pops are so hard up that they need to dip their fingers in government contracts? I read that Nadia is, but that's neither here nor there because her name was not in the text.

But I think Gretchen really needs the funds wherever she can get it because there's always new branded shoes, clothes and bags to get her hands on and the shops will not wait for her.

Gretchen has said she's in consultation with her lawyers to advise her on what to do with the creature who dared maligned her name in public.

Mikaela has appeared on a number of showbiz talk shows to defend her good name. To quote her "hindi ako ipinanganak para matakot sa isang Gretchen Barreto."

Hmm, them are fighting words. But I expect to see these same people making bese-beso in social-climbing events in no time. As they say, friends who do plastic surgery together, flock together. Well, I'm mixing my idioms, but you get my drift.

Mikaela dropped other bombshells. Like it was Pops Fernandez who called her up to ask for help on a government contract. Another one: Gretchen, Pops and Ruffa went on a vacation in Bohol with certain top government officials.

I don't who's telling the truth; I don't really care to find out. What is clear is that it is unethical for any of these ladies to make commissions on government contracts on the virtue of one or two of them having an intimate connection with the person who has the power to award the winning bid.

Mikaela is encouraging Gretchen to take the dispute in court where she can reveal all she knows.

The stakes are high. I wish they’d get a judge who is creative, one who would rule that whoever losses will have to choices for punishment: spend an inordinate of time under extreme heat or allow one flick on the loser’s nose.

Breaking News: Gretchen Barreto Undergoes Surgery for Appendicitis

Gretchen Barreto underwent surgery for appendicitis after complaining of severe stomach pain, according to SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon). The singer-actress complained of pain right after coming home from Singapore.

An MRI revealed the inflamed appendix. I don't know if Gretchen is so delusional that she thought she can stop her appendix from bursting because she asked the doctors to postpone the surgery to be able to celebrate Father's Day with her partner Tony Boy Cojuangco and daughter Dominique.

I guess even a self-confessed goddess of beauty like Gretchen can't stop pesky medical emergencies like appendicitis from happening. She tried to bargain for postponement but eventually it dawned on her that her delusions have no control over her body. HAHAHA

At first I thought the medical emergency was her silicon-enhanced lips ruptured. Heh. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

In other Gretchen Barreto news, she and erstwhile friend Nadia Montenegro have kissed and made up at the wake of famed talent manager Douglas Quijano. It was Nadia who made the first move, saying she felt it was the right time. I agree. There are so many people and witness there. Even cameras and reporters are following the star-studded wake. Where else is the perfect place to reconcile?

It was also in the same wake that mother and daughter Anabelle Rama and Ruffa Gutierrez took the first step towards their reconciliation. It was Ruffa who approached her moneyger. Kailangan ng magkabati ni Ruffa at Anabelle kasi baka marami pang ibulgar ang matabil nyang nanay tungkol sa kanya.

Speaking of Gretchen. Bong Revilla was also interviewed on SNN to promote an ABS-CBN project titled "Agimat," which originally starred the Revilla patriarch Ramon Revilla Sr.

The project will be headlined by Jake Cuenca, Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin and Bong Revilla's son, Jolo Revilla. Bong's reminder to his son? "Huwag mong pahiyain ang Revilla clan sa akting mo."

When I heard this, I was giving the side eye to Bong Revilla. I wanted to smack him in the face. Napakababaw. Di ba matagal nang binigyan ng kahihiyan ni Jolo Revilla ang pamilya nya? And I'm not talking about his son's ham acting on Totoy Bato.

She’s In My Face Again Because She Is Promoting Another CD

I've been seeing Gretchen Barreto's mug again on TV because she has a new CD coming out. (If you want to know the title, you won't find it here. I refuse to pander to her feelings of self-importance.)

This is actually her second album. Apparently bumenta yung una. Based on what I saw and heard on TV, the come on of this CD is not the songs (not original, they are cover songs), but what is written on the sleeve of the CD. It is a dedication from Gretchen Barreto herself. The statements are apparently controversial enough to warrant their own show.

Eh, whatthefuckever. The dedication, to me, is another manifestation of Gretchen's delusion that she is relevant, therefore the public must want to know how she feels and what's her state of mind. So, is it a waste of money to buy a CD of Gretchen Barreto cover songs? No two ways about it. This is a rhetorical question.

Anyway, heard from the rumor mill that Gretchen Barreto went to Tagbilaran Bohol for her post birthday celebration. She was followed there by her "special someone" who is apparently not Tonyboy Cojuangco. If there truly is a higher being, a picture of this lovely couple must surface soon.

Why Is This Attention Whore Still Relevant?

The latest on Gretchen Barreto is that she purchased a bus. It's a bus, not a luxury vehicle, because in her words "may krisis ngayon." Bitch, shut the fuck up. It's not a secondhand, Japanese-made bus that looks like a Fermina or King of Kings bus. It is more likely an RV, a popular vehicle for long road trips as it has all the amenities of home. Did I also mention that it's for her use alone, along with her many bodyguards and yayas? So finally, may tamang paglalagyan na ang microwave oven na dala-dala ni Greta saan man siya magpunta. Di ba Dawn Zulueta? Hay, Gretchen, you and your social-climbing ways.

I don't get why Pinoy showbiz fans continue to make Gretchen Barreto relevant. If you look up the meaning of "ang langaw kapag tumuntong sa kalabaw mas mataas pa sa kalabaw" you will see Gretchen Baretto's picture beside it.

If you still can't figure who and what is Gretchen Baretto, consider this incident that "allegedly" took place in an elevator of a posh commercial building:
