Willie Revillame Goes Off the Air

Willie Revillame and his TV program, Willing Willie, are going on hiatus for two weeks.

This is to give Willie time to contemplate whether he can still go on with single-handedly saving the poor population of the Philippines.

Woe-is-me Willie Revillame has given up because fellow artistas, Aiza Seguerra, Lea Salonga and Jim Paredes to name a few, have dared speak up against not Willie himself but about the inappropriateness of the "Jan-Jan episode" of Willing Willie.

Me thinks Willie Revillame is rethinking his life's choices because several of his shows sponsors have withdrawn, at least temporarily, from airing ads on the show.

If Procter and Gamble, Jolibee's Mang Inasal, Unilever Philippines, CDO and Cebuana Lhuillier quit me, I'd also quit myself. Those ads support Willie and his staff's salaries as well as the prices given to contestants.

Willie Revillame, contrary to his sycophants' (i.e Cristy Fermin) belief, is not so selfless that he would continue with the show spending his own money to give to his poor contestants.

Because Willie got so hurt by his fellow actors speaking out against him, he lashed back at them via a 30-minute monologue on the April 8 edition of Willing Willie.

Sa mga nakisawsaw, Willie has this to say: "nakatulong na ba sila sa mahihirap?"

In Willie mind that should shut them up. It didn't occur to him that those people may not necessarily have the same opinions about certain things.

Willie has this to say about Aiza Seguerra: "Magpakalalaki ka." -- what does that even mean?

To Agot Isidro "Wala ka namang anak, alamin mo muna." Well, I know people with kids who chose to exploit their children. Hello JanJan's parents.

Willie may be a millionaire many times over but he is UNCOUTH. That is all I'm going to say about him.

When Willie resurfaces again (I'm sure he will), TV5 should hire good scriptwriters for the show. Put in writing what Willie should say, how program segments should go because nothing comes good during Willie's unscripted moments.

Notice Willing Willie is a two-hour program but almost never ends on the exact hour? That's because Willie always runs his mouth and tries to squeeze every tear-jerking moments from his contestants - all in the name of entertainment and public service - allegedly.

Willing Willie Revillame Is In Trouble....Again

TV host Willie Revillame, the savior of poor and downtrodden Pinoys, finds himself in trouble again because of a 6-year-old boy, Jan Jan Suan.

During the March 12 episode of Willing Willie, Jan Jan danced like he's auditioning for a role in the sequel to Lino Brocka's Macho Dancer- Macho Dancer, toddler edition.

Janjan showed his macho-dancing talent, while tears were running down his cheeks, and he got P10,000 from Willie for his troubles.

Well, Janjan can macho dance to his heart's content-inside his home and with only his immediate family as audience. Don't let that kind of shit be seen by millions of viewers on national TV.

To janjan's parents who said their boy was not abused and humiliated and that he was just showing off his dancing talent: shut your mouths, go outside and find a decent job!

JanJan's parents is my #1253845 reason why there should be selective sterilization in our country. Good parenting job there, parasites! Just because you can, doesn't mean you should have kid(s), that is.

To the apology that Willie and his staff issued: blah, blah blah, it was as bogus as Vicki Belo's entire face. Aside from the apology, Willie and staff issued this non-excuse:

“He appeared to be sad or even in tears, not because he was being forced to dance, but because he felt the dance was ‘serious’ and he was playing a role. He did not want to smile because of his missing upper front teeth and because of the presence on the set of former basketball player Bonel Balingit who Jan-jan thought was a scary ‘giant,”

To Willie's retort about there being more important national issues than a minor being made to dance for money, I say Willie is part of the (poverty) problem in the country when you look at it beyond the surface.

Sure Willie's show gives away cash, cars and house and lot but the show is also teaching the poor to rely on luck and the goodness of others to reverse their fortunes. Lady luck will not smile at every one of those poor sods who line up from dawn up to how many hours just to get inside the studio and be one of Willie's chosen few.

Willie Revillame is really pissed that many sectors, from A-B crowd to the MTRCB and the NGOs, are disrupting the handjob that his poor sycophants are giving him.

He should be afraid because there are petitions that the ads on his show that are his bread and butter be pulled out.

As for janjan's parents, they're thinking of going to the province for a while just until things cool off. Well, I bet janjan's parents are now thinking they should have just taught their kid how to hip-hop, break dance or ballroom dance.

Willie Revillame Quits ABS-CBN

Willie Revillame finally surfaced following months to laying low to announce in a press conference that he is rescinding his contract with ABS-CBN.

Before the people at the presscon could find out if there's an envelope with their name on it from Willie, ABS-CBN came back with "Willie will remain our bitch til his contract ends on September 2011."

Both Willie and ABS-CBN claim to be the aggrieved party in their agreement, so who is entitled to legally say "I quit you?" I guess we'll see the warring parties in court.

So basically, Willie revealed that he and one of the head bitches at ABS-CBN talked and agreed that Willie will be back on Wowowee on July 31.

But another head bitch who is higher on the totem pole blocked Willie's return, so came Pilipinas Win na Win and Kris Aquino's return to television. It was rumored that Willie wanted this head bitch gone from the network. So in the end, it all boiled down to Willie or the head bitch. Guess we know now who is more powerful.

Willie was offered a one-hour weekly show. Willie did not object to having another TV show, I don't think. What he didn't like was that it was pre-taped. Yes, pre-taped. If you ask me, pre-recording Willie hosting a show is an effective way of stopping the flow of caca coming out of his mouth when he is displeased about something.

The new Wowowee would have boasted new games, more prices like a house and lot, and minus Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion and Cristy Fermin's newest target of tirade, Pokwang.

I think the new Wowowee would have been doomed from the start because the old problem at the old Wowowee would still there - Willie Revillame. Sooner or later Willie's arrogance will shine through. He can't help himself.

Wowowee Is No More

Cristy Fermin tried to one-up the competition by announcing that Willie Revillame would be returning to the noontime show Wowowee on July 31.

Cristy was wrong but naturally she blamed it on an ABS-CBN executive who wants Willie to get on one of his yachts and sail away never to be seen again.

As is ABS-CBS's wont, the network don't completely cancel a show in trouble. Instead, they reinvent it. Case in point: Showtime. And now, Wowowee.

Wowowee will be coming back, in the form of Pilipinas Win Win Win. Creative title, ain't it? The show will be hosted by Robin Padilla, Kris Aquino, Pokwang, Marielle Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion.

Same old faces. Same set. Same set of games, almost. Same prizes. And same dancers. Well what innovative show can you come up when you are told on Tuesday that you are going to launch a new show on Saturday?

With Wowowee out, where's Cristy's precious Willie now? Unfortch, ABS-CBN is cooking up a Saturday show for Willie. But I have the feeling Willie, not even his shadow, will be seen in ABS-CBN again. He's eyeing that network where the person who is No 1 on his Christmas list is currently working.

Willie Revillame For Senator?

Blame Manny Villar if this desecration comes true. Punish him for this idiocy by not voting for him.

Willie Revillame is currently on hiatus after being deluged with protests and criticism over his rude and arrogant remark about the late President Corazon Aquino’s cortege being show live on his show, Wowowee.

The Aquino family has accepted Willie Revillame’s apology, but certain sectors are still after his head. The intention was good, but why be rude and arrogant about it? Kasi money can’t buy you good manners and breeding.

Willie’s spin doctor, Cristy Fermin, is also on the offensive, devoting a portion of her Bulgar column regarding Willie’s status almost daily.

According to doc Cristy, several ads are on hold while Willie is on leave. Many fans are sending her texts and mails voicing their impatience over Willie’s continued absence on Wowowee. If you’re born yesterday, please feel free to believe all these lie telling.

Manny Villar has also come to Willie’s rescue, offering a senatorial seat for Willie if he decides not to come back on his show.

Seryoso ka? Parang ang daling pumili ng kandidato para sa isang mahalagang posisyon sa gobyerno. Kailangan ba ng senado ng court jester? Hindi pa ba sapat ang estatwa sa Senado na si Lito Lapid?

The network where Willie works has exonerated him, saying that the insertion of the live feed was a miscommunication. Oo na miscommunication na. However, the issue is Willie’s lack of respect for others in the way he comes across through words and actions. How do you explain that?

Wowowee Host Willie Revillame Draws Criticism Over Comment on Ex President Cory’s Wake Live Feed

Are we still surprised to hear that Willie Revillame is rude and arrogant?

For all his millions, he still hasn't learned that "it's not what you say, it's how you say it." His millions also failed to teach him manners and sensitivity.

While a live feed of ABS-CBN’s special coverage of the transfer of Cory’s remains from La Salle Greenhills gym to the Manila Cathedral was airing during the noontime show’s Willie of Fortune segment, Revillame demanded that the live video be removed.

Revillame bitchily snapped “Di po maganda. Nagsasaya kami dito habang nagluluksa ang sambayanang Pilipino. ‘Di ko magagampanan ang pagpapatawa habang ipinapakita ang libing ng dating president."

In response, the Alyansa ng Filipinong Mamamahayag (AFIMA) urged the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to teach the host a lesson.

Willie Revilla, probably sensing his popularity and his source of income being threatened, explained that he meant no disrespect by his comment. “Ang feeling ko hindi magandang ipinapakita ‘yon habang kami’y nagsasaya... Sa sitwasyon na ito, kung may nasaktan ako, I’m sorry. Sa pamilya Aquino, alam ng buong pamilya Aquino [na] wala akong masamang intention doon."

A temporary suspension from the MTRCB will not, in any way, affect Willie Revillame. Hit Willie where he will be hurt the most – through the ads being shown in his show. The bulk of Willie’s income comes from companies who give him millions for just mentioning their products on his show. Without these ads, his arrogance will dry up pretty fast.

Let’s write to advertisers to boycott his show or we will boycott their products if they don’t. To make Willie’s downfall a sure thing, stop watching his show. Low ratings mean very little ads.

Somebody tell Willie that Wowowee has no social or historical significance whatsoever. Capitalizing on the sob stories of your contestants and giving them a prize for leaving their dignity in tatters on nationwide TV don’t give you relevance, Willie – merely an opportunist hiding behind the name of charity to endear yourself to people.

Somebody also give a little history lesson to Willie. He or his show will never be more important than Cory or the Aquino clan to The Powers That Be of ABS-CBN. Without Cory Aquino, there is no ABS-CBN, Meralco. The Lopezes owe a great deal to Cory Aquino for giving back to them their holdings and assets that were sequestered during the Marcos regime.

Pwede ba, Willie is the most powerful figure in entertainment only in PEP’s subjective list. In real life, isa siyang bastos at arogante na nagpapanggap na TV host.
