Richard Gomez on Crime Rate Between Naga City and Ormoc City

The last time I heard from the mayor of Ormoc City Richard Gomez he was trying to sell a jaundiced dick painting. Yes, you read it right. That dick sold for nearly 200k and I pity the fool who bought it – that person is rich but the taste level is questionable. I’ve seen more life-like dick graffitis.

And Richard Gomez has weighed in on the crime data released by our PNP (Philippine National Police). It would have been fine. I understand the happiness over Ormoc City being the city with the lowest crime rate in the Philippines. But the not-so-subtle shade on Naga City put Richard Gomez on my shit list.

I was really surprised that Richard Gomez found time to tweet, given that he is a chef de mission of our beleaguered Philippine delegation to the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Is he not busy looking after his wife, Lucy Torres, and any shenanigans she might commit while out shopping?

That dig at Naga City, and by extension VP Leni Robredo, is an after service to Duterte, who earlier tagged him as being included on his drug matrix based on the confession of high profile Tokhang victim, Mayor Espinosa, father of another high profile drug personality, Kerwin Espinosa.

Goma must have been quacking in this boots back then. He doesn't want to just end up dead (no chance) and miss his chance of being great. So now he must repay from being de-listed in the drug list by joining in on a concerted effort to tarnish VP Leni Robredo's reputation before the eyes of the electorate.

Shady bitch and a fake news purveyor to boot. Ang bobong Chief PNP na si Abayalde atat i-drag ang Naga sa putik kaya excited na ibalita na Naga City is top 5 in the list of cities with the highest crime rate in the Philippines. Buti napansin ng media na hindi naka-sort ang datos from top to bottom, kundi by Region (nasa Region 5 ang Naga).

The PNP spokesperson apologized for the mistake but after some manipulation of figures (by crime volume), Naga City magically came up in the top 5 and Ormoc City in the No. 1 in the list of lowest crime rate.

This is not the first time Richard Gomez has shared fake news on Queen Elizabeth. Desperado si Goma. England's Royal Family is bound by law to remain apolitical, so why would the Queen have anything to say sa tamad na si Katay Gong Di?

Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown: The Final Tribal Council

I wasn't going to write about Survivor Philippines anymore after Philippine Volcano Arnold got voted out. But watching the Jury two nights in the row made me changed my mind. Most of the jury members really takes the cake in bitterness and sourgraping!

Here's what's running through my mind while each jury member makes their case of why they deserve to be in the top 3 and not the trio of Mara, Betong and Step.

John: Why still bitter when you were voted out third? By the time of the final tribal council, John should have realized what went wrong in this strategy: Paranoia. But kudos to him for pointing out to Betong they are playing Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown, not Survivor Philippines Charity.

KC: Got a right to still be bitter because his elimination was still fresh, but recognize that he was voted out because the girls, Mara and Step, was influenced by the jury. As for Betong, give him hell not your vote since Maey told him to vote you out from the jury box. Betong has no strategy from day one, and still has none until the FTC. It was low of KC to hurt Step by just telling her that her dog Taco Boy has gone to dog heaven. Would that news help him decide who should win Survivor?

A bunch of has-beens, never-was and wannabes, with the exemption of Elma Muros and Doc Ferds.

If this season is as contrived for drama as the previous season, I'm going to bail in the middle of it. I was blogging and suddenly I lost interest because that season definitely jumped the shark.

I hope this celebrity season is more natural - let the drama and the story line unfold on its own.

For what it's worth, my early faves are Elma Muros (props to her sports accomplishments), Doc Ferds (his passion for the environment is hot) and Mykah.

Of course, my favorites never win.

Fashion Hits and Misses at SONA 2010

Richard Gomez and Ormoc representative Lucy Torres-Gomez both wearing Randy Ortiz. Richard will be chief of staff for wife Lucy. Oh, and Richard is wearing perfume called "Desperation." It's not a good scent.

Senator Loren Legarda, is she pregnant or did she just get fat? Emotional eating much after her loss in the vice presidential race?

Saranggani congressman Manny Pacquiao and wife, Jinky. Without the diamonds and other expensive baubles, Jinky Pacquiao is just really "MEH."

Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson in barong and his signature sunglasses. I think not. Chavit attention whorism is stronger than hiya so he opted for really expensive designer sunglasses instead.

Bayan Muna Party list representative Teddy Casino. Dedication much?

Ex Akbayan party list representative Riza Hontiveros. Beautiful high-end tapis but is it really event-appropriate?

Shiela Israel, wife of Laguna Congressman Dan Fernandez, in an Edward Teh turquoise terno. I thought this was Manay Gina de Venecia. Truth.

Actor Rez Cortez in a barong and jeans. Radical! (not really). I just thought he should cultivate a better relationship with oil control powder. Based on this, I think they are presently not on speaking terms.

How Lucky Are The Gutierrez Family?

The enemies of the Gutierrez family can't catch a break, can they?

Anabelle Rama can be found these days in her voodoo room doing thanksgiving rituals to her dolls. Why not? The Gutierrez family is on a winning streak - legal-wise.

The Reckless Imprudence resulting to homicide case filed against Richard Gutierrez filed by the widow of his assistant who died in a car crash with Richard last year has been dismissed by the DOJ.

You have a very powerful car made for speed and you can't take advantage of it, not with Metro Manila's traffic situation. What do you do? Turn a random Cavite road into an instant race track, that's what you do? Do you blame, Richard? And the DOJ secretaries past and present agree with him.

Not convinced yet that the Gutierrez are lucky bastards?

Then, Wilma Galvante, GMA 7's VP for Entertainment, could be jailed and pay Anabelle fucking Rama millions and millions of pesoses because the DOJ reversed its earlier decision dismissing the case.

I can't accept that the Gutierrez family is sooo lucky. I can't with them. I don't think the voodoo gods are smiling down at this family. I just can't. This leaves me with the question: Which influential person(s) is/are Anabelle, Ruffa or Raymond blowing!?

Why Can’t Y’all Just Let Richard Gomez Be Great?!

The Commission on Election has disqualified Richard Gomez as a congressional candidate in for Ormoc, Leyte, due to lack of residency.

Right! It is Richard Gomez’s wife, Lucy Torres, who is a bonafide resident of Ormoc. Her family practically owns Ormoc.

Third time is not a charm for Richard Gomez. See, this is his third attempt at running for an elective position and the third time he lost even before the actual elections.

In his first attempt, Richard Gomez ran as party-list representative for Mamamayang Ayaw sa Droga (MAD) in 2001. The party list gathered many votes but was later disqualified. I thought this was a no-brainer since I don’t think drug addicts are a marginalized sector. But apparently it was disqualified for being funded by the government.

Richard Gomez ran for senator in 2007 as an independent candidate but was unsuccessful. I didn’t know this fun fact, which is enough indication that he was a non-entity back then.

Richard Gomez being disqualified because he failed the required one-year residency in Ormoc is no surprise. Hello?! Before celebrities who are running in the coming May 2010 elections were barred from appearing on any entertainment show, we watched female contestants on Family Fued on GMA-7 make a fool of themselves over Goma five days a week. So, when did Richard have the time to go to Ormoc?

A former barangay chairman in Ormoc, Buenaventura Juntilla, filed a petition asking the Comelec to disqualify Gomez for not being a bona fide resident of Ormoc. Can we get this guy a medal for saving his home town from a potential absentee Congressman?

Richard will appeal the decision, according to his lawyers.

Uhm… Goodluck? Never say die? Try and try until you succeed?

Or better than all these clichés, ‘Get a clue, Richard! Politics hates you!”

Richard Gutierrez Is Really His Mother’s Son

I’ve no doubt about it now. Read on.

So, on Oct 2, Richard Gutierrez figured in an incident at the NAIA Terminal 3. The controversial actor and Jewel Mische were late arriving at the boarding gate, causing them to be offloaded from their Cebu Pacific Air flight bound to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to airport sources, Richard threw a temper tantrum, shouting at airline personnel, even going so far as spitting on his boarding pass and throwing it against a wall.

I’ve been waiting for this escandalo to hit our local media, and nada. No TV or newspaper coverage. If I didn’t happen to read it in another showbiz website, I wouldn’t know about Richard’s Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde personality.

I caught moneyger Anabelle Rama being asked about the incident during her birthday celebration in an orphanage. All she said was “bayaan na ang mga naninira sa anak nya.” A mild-mannered Anabelle Rama is like seeing Mother Theresa angrily rejecting the needy and the sick. I’m thinking she was being kind becase it’s her birthday or it’s all she can say in her son’s defense. Huli sa akto, eh.

Anyway, Richard and Jewel arrived on time at the airport and was able to check in their luggage. For some reason, they failed to show up on time for boarding.

Some are saying they had a quickie. I don’t believe this. I believe it was longer than a quickie. I’m imagining the sex involved whips and handcuffs that’s why they took so long. But I won’t go there since this is a GP site.

Sources also said Richard and Jewel could have boarded but they were waylaid by mga chipangang airline personnel who wanted to take pictures. I’m thinking Richard went along because he doesn’t want to hurt his fans’ feelings. Lecheng fans! Sila ba magbabayad ng rebooking mo?

You see this is one of those times when security is helpful. They will do your dirty work like barricade you against overzealous fans. Since Richard and Jewel took a budget airline, I guess security is too steep an investment for them.

When this incident happened, Anabelle Rama could not be reached for comment. I don’t think Anabelle’s secret room at their palatial house can be reached by cellphone signals. The room with her voodoo dolls is impenetratable by advanced technologies such as GPS and satellites.

Who made a comment about the incident on their Twitter account? None other than Raymund Gutierrez, Richard’s Impakta (of the fanteserye Darna), I mean her twin brother.

Raymund twitted:

"wow.it seems like PEP is really out to get my bro.no airport incident happened-he’d been in the country and was even in Mel & joey live lastnight."

"Just called my brother reg the latest article on PEP. Like me, he is saddened and shocked. another day, another lie. what can we do..."

"there are a lot of future scriptwriters out there. half of them work for PEP."

"all the negative press the past few months... wonder who’s behind it all. hmmm... lets all take a wild guess shall we?"

"Nakakatawa ang PEP. fri-he was in GMA with the people from GMA films; Sat-he worked out in his condo and had a meeting; Sun- he was on Mel & Joey."

Thank god for Twitdards like Raymund who use Twitter to let the world know of their stupidity. Basically, Raymund dear, your brother could have done all those things you mentioned and still have time to go to the airport, have a quickie and catch his flight (or try to).

Moral of the story: Avoid quickies until you’ve boarded. Join the mile high club instead, but not in a budget airline. Don’t be cheap and book youself in business class.

Ara Mina Believes People of Provident Village Should Have Been Saved First

The reason? Provident Village is like Corithian Gardens, ergo the people who live there are rich.

Elitist much, Ara?

For those not in the know (I doubt there are people who don't kbnow unless you're living under rock or you just don't care) this little piece of wisdom came from Ara Mina because her little sister and the rest of her family live in Provident Village in Marikina and was trapped for 12 hours on the rooftop of their house.

Ara Mina was confounded why rescue was slow for her sister who lives in a posh subdivision.

Ara Mina's handlers should let her know, gradually of course because we don't want her to undergo a rude awakening, that her sister is not special even if she bagged the No 1 spot in FHM's most beautiful women, or sexiest women, basta magandang title.

Ara Mina also assumed it's Bayani Fernando and his men who had the responsibility to save her family in Provident Village. In fairness to her, she said "wala siyang tampo kay Chairman Bayani, kasi baka may iba pang sinaklolohan."

Too bad Manny Pacquiao is in Baguio.

Of course, we know Richard Gutierrez saved Cristine and her family in a spectular fashion, riding in a rubber boat, braving strong currents and extreme darkness, to save .... the leading lady of his newest movie, Patient X. Sorry, I've reading too much fiction.

The gods are now smiling on Richard Gutierrez. Imagine, his saving his leading lady, is a great promotional angle for the movie, even if it's of the horor genre. Kaya lang, will people watch? What's a greater horror than seeing a sudden flash flood, being trapped in a water world, waiting for rescue, not knowing when that rescue is coming...Okay, you get my drift.

Anyway...

People of Quezon City, particularly Ara's district, take note. Ara Mina is taking the plunge into politics in the 2010 elections. It's not enough that she tookover Aiko Melendez's leftovers (hmm, Jomari Yllana, anyone?), she will also be trying to take over the council seat that will be vacated by last termer Aiko Melendez, who will be runningh as Vice Mayor.

Quezon City residents this is your future Councilor. If there should be a major calamity again, Ara Mina will be saving her rich constituents first. Kung purita mirasol ka, get a stub and get in line to be saved.

Okay, now. I really don't believe Ara Mina thinks the poor deserved to be saved last. She's probably musing out loud and forgot to turn on her filter. She probably also forgot she was talking in front of the press whose job is to take note of every soundbite, good or bad, from actors and actresses like Ara Mina whose charm goes pffft once they start talking.

Ara's poor wittle brain (smaller than her bust size. yes, I went there so sue me!) can't grasp the concept that Mother Nature is a great equalizer. She's an equal opportunity badass who will devastate your life whether you are poor or rich.

Gurl, your hope to grab an elective position is the people living below the poverty line. I'm sure you know the poor people are in far greater number than the rich. You can't afford to alienate the people who can elect you.

I guess Ara Mina is still lucky because this brilliant soundbite will not be read or heard by that many people, just people like me who doesn't have anything better to do and not even a resident of Quezon City.

People are busy rebuilding their lives, so stupid comments from stupid celebrities are so far from their priorities right now.

The Gutierrez Family Defends Their Own

I finally saw a scene that could possibly be an acting piece for Richard Gutierrez. The actor appeared on a taped interview with his lawyer to answer the lawsuit filed against him by Lorayne Prado, the widow of Richard’s PA, Nomar, who was killed in a car accident two months ago.

The Gutierrez family must be feeling insecure about their chances of coming out victorious in this lawsuit because one by one members of the Gutierrez family is coming out to defend their beleaguered family member.

The Gutierrez brought out the bigs guns - and I don’t mean Jun Lalin. Family patriarch Eddie Gutierrez came out briefly from under Anabelle Rama’s skirts to defend his son. Eddie Gutierrez is considered the more respectable member of the family because he doesn’t talk much. He talks only during important events, like when eldest daughter Ruffa Gutierrez came home a battered wife, and now, when Richard Gutierrez, the biggest money earner in the family, is facing a criminal case.

Ruffa Gutierrez and Richard’s twin Raymond used their respective showbiz talk shows as a platform to prop up the innocence and generosity of their brother, and in the same manner discredit the actions and feelings of the widow who is seeking justice.

I thought after the initial salvo from Anabelle Rama, the family decided to lock up their matriarch in her special room with the voodoo dolls to prevent her from spewing more inappropriateness that is bringing the family down, for reals, in the arena of public opinion.

I was wrong. Her interview in a radio program is a classic lesson on not what to say when you badly need public support. There were so many WTF moments as I was listening to Anabelle Rama. Well, if your PR person is Jun Lalin, don’t expect much, okay?

The central theme of the Gutierrez’s defense is their generosity to the Pardo family before, during and after the tragic accident. They kept on harping that the help was not out of obligation because it wasn’t Richard fault that the accident happened.

FYI, Anabelle accidents are unintentional and not premeditated but they are often caused by something or someone. There is no question that Richard did not mean for the accident to happen but he is accountable for being the driver of the car.

If we must play the blame game, who or what could be the culprit, if not Richard? Let’s see. The coconut trees for simply standing there, not getting out of Richard’s way when his car was careening off the road? Could it be the curved road for not being straight so Richard could drive on his merry way without incident? Or Nomar for not wearing a seatbelt in the backseat of the car?

According to Ruffa, her brother was not speeding and was very careful as he drove the car. Take this with a grain of salt because Richard was driving a Nissan GT-R, a car built for speed in a race track. It’s not a station wagon that the family takes on vacations or road trips.

I will assume Richard likes speed. Otherwise, he would go for a van or SUV. So for a speed enthusiast, the need for speed must be very tempting on an open, nearly deserted road considering the time the accident happened.

The family, taking note from the police and onlookers, said that the area is accident prone. There have been seven or so accidents in the same spot. How many vehicles pass through that stretch of road in a given day? Hundreds, thousands? Those seven or so have been careless while the rest respected and followed the road warnings.

By the way, the price of a Nissan GT-R is in the millions so why is the Gutierrez family quibbling over P4 M? It’s a drop in the bucket for them. If they are so really hard up, why don’t Anabelle sell two or three of her diamond jewelries?

I don’t think Richard or any of his family members feels accountable for Nomar’s death. This is the core of the issue of why the Gutierrez cannot simply hand over the money, which is not an unreasonable amount. Richard Gutierrez, according to her nanay, has the highest per episode pay among GMA Network’s stable of stables. Is it so hard to let go of the money that you would earn back in a few days or weeks of work?

The families have reached an impasse so a logical solution is to let the courts decide on whether the family of the deceased is entitled to damages and whether Richard should be jailed for reckless driving. The Pardos are not traitors or mukhang pera for going to court. So many people have sued over the shallowest and most frivolous of reasons. Ehem, Anabelle Rama, ehem.

As Richard was explaining his side during the taped interview in Startalk, I could see the sadness in Richard’s eyes. Or is it fear caused by the unbidden thought that serious jail time is a real possibility in his future?

Richard was explaining that he too felt saddened about Nomar’s death; that it was an accident that nobody wanted to happen. Yeah, it was tragic. Who wants to have another’s life on their conscience? But I could not feel full-on sympathy for Richard simply because his mother’s name is Anabelle Rama. I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this way.

That in itself is tragic - to attract negative vibes and enemies along the way, not because of your own doing and regardless of whatever kindness or generosity you extend to others, but because there are no words bad enough that can describe what your mother is. Tactless and insensitive barely scratch the surface.

Richard’s pretty face is fucked.

Quote From The Stars

“huwag kang mangarap ng 4M dahil wala kang maaasahan. Tulong ang pinag-usapan dito, hindi kami bumibili ng patay.” Anabelle Rama’s text to Lorayne Pardo, the widow of the PA who was killed in a car accident involving Richard Gutierrez

Richard Gutierrez, fresh from losing a P25 M libel suit he filed against the entertainment news portal PEP, is now the defendant of a criminal case filed by Lorayne Pardo, the widow of Nomar Pardo, Richard’s personal assistant who was the lone fatality in the car accident two months ago in Silang, Cavite.

Richard Gutierrez was the driving that very expensive (as in equivalent to several low-cost housing units) and very fast (as in illegal to drive in the US) that sports car that rammed into a post and coconut trees in the wee hours of the morning in May 2009.

After two months of silene, the widow of Nomar Pardo is speaking up and is suing Richard Gutierrez for Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide.

I think it’s good that the widow has finally taken action because the lack of legal ramifications on the part of Richard Gutierrez astounds me. His driver’s license was not even confiscated and he was able to get behind the wheel a mere few weeks after the accident.

If the justice system really works in this country, Richard Gutierrez should face serious jail time. Look at Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, who was incarcerated for a few months for leaving his friend a vegetable because of a serious vehicular accident.

Richard Gutierrez’s driver’s license should be suspended as well because he has a history for reckless driving. According to Mrs. Pardo she has been dreaming about her husband and one day she finally went through her dead husband’s wallet. In it she found a receipt for P500 from the Land Transportation under Richard Gutierrez’s name for reckless driving. The receipt was dated Feb 2005.

The dead husband also told the wife that Richard has a habit of driving too fast. Pleas from the PA for Richard to ease off the gas pedal a bit always fall on deaf ears.

Can Anabelle Rama also be jailed for mental instability? Please? She’s a self-confessed churchgoer but she always takes the Lord’s name in vain. She’s always talking about not backing out of a fight because God is with her. Please, Anabelle. God has better things to do than cater to your delusions that you are His only creation.

Anabelle is also not above disrespecting the dead. How come? Anabelle is not paying P4 M to buy a dead person. I’m not even a relation to the dead person, but I wanted to smack her right in the face when I read that.

Raymond Gutierrez, how dare your mother think that P4 M is too much for a dead person, and yet she thinks she is worth P7 in her case against Wilma Galvante and that Richard needed P25 M to repair the alleged damage done to his image by an article about a gun-toting incident uploaded on PEP?

Anabelle is calling the action of Nomar Pardo’s widow as “pagta-traydor and blackmail.” Anyway I see it, Richard is neither the underdog nor the victim.

DOJ Dismisses P25-M Libel Suit Filed By Richard Gutierrez Against PEP

Let's be real. Richard Gutierrez is perfection face-wise, pero bano umarte.

The Department of Justice has dismissed the P25 Million libel suit filed against PEP by actor Richard Gutierrez due to "lack of probable cause."

The libel suit against PEP, editor-in-chief Joan Maglipon, managing editor Karen Pagsolingan and staff writer Bong Godinez was originally filed at the Makati Regional Trial Court, but was later transferred to the DOJ.

The libel suit stemmed from a story that appeared on PEP, alleging that Richard Gutierrez had altercation with another actor, Michael Flores, during the birthday bash of director Mark Reyes in Mar 2009. Richard Gutierrez cried foul over reports that there was "gun-toting" involved.

But wait. Moneyger Anabelle Rama, Richard's Monster Mom, is not finished sticking pins in Jo-An Maglipon voodoo dolls. According to Anabelle,"hindi pa tapos ang laban."

Anabelle Rama's statement in full:

I believe Anabelle Rama. The case is far from over because from her statements above someone has grounds to file a libel case against her.

Anabelle runs her mouth off every time she’s interviewed. She’s fond of telling it’s just her being frank and truthful. Someone should tell her it’s her being arrogant and ill-mannered. Truth be told, she and her manners are not fit for society. She gets away with it because she has money, therefore there are many around her who are more than willing to kiss her ass.

Don't you just wish Zorro's horse could give Anabelle Rama a little kick in the head to make her realize that just because her family's production company is called Royal Era and Ruffa Gutierrez won second princess in the Ms World competition many moons ago, doesn’t mean they are royalty? It just means Anabelle is ilusyunada.

Sue-happy Anabelle Rama must be fuming mad because her grubby hands were thisclose to getting that P25 M and it was snatched away.

That millions of pesoses could have been put to good use by the Gutierrez family, like funding Richard Gutierrez’s acting lessons and supporting the freeloaders in that family.

Anabelle Rama is confident that “kakampi namin ang Diyos.” Really now. Don’t you think God has better things to do than take the side of a person who’s fond of taking His name in vain?

YES ! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2009 Is Not Credible, Fake - Anabelle Rama

Talent moneyger Anabelle Rama called YES! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2009 "not credible" and "fake." Reason: Her children Richard Gutierrez and Ruffa Gutirrez are not on the list. Bitter?

Here's the full text message that was sent by Anabelle Rama to the entertainment press:

"Hi dis s Annabelle, nabAsa ko yung column mo dis morning re dalawang magkapatid di nasali sa pagpili ng mOst beautiful faces in d showbiz. Ang sagot ko: Wala akong pakialam sa award galing sa isang local magazine na hindi naman credible.

"Importante panalo ng award c Richard for being #1 primetime King.

We don't expect anything from them, specially fake awards. Plz pass."

If the list is not credible and fake, then why respond at all? Opps, my bad. The words breeding and grace are not in Anabelle Rama's vocabulary. Seriously, Anabelle, it is a made-up list with a very subjective criteria. If you stop to think before opening your big mouth, you will realize it's not worth responding to. Oh well. We're talking about Anabelle Rama. Lahat papatulan niya.

The basis of selection according to YES! Magazine editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon,

"If you ask me kung ano yung criteria for choosing, it's a mix. It's an alchemy, it's a chemistry that's very hard to explain. But you know that we put together the attitude of the star, the look of the star, the spunk of the star, the intelligence of the star, or the acting prowess of the star, the longevity of the star, or the hotness of the star... Hindi namin tinitingnan lang sa mukha o katawan. It's a whole chemistry that led itself to being beautiful."

Here's the answer why the Gutierrez sibling were out on this year's list:

"Many of the stars that you saw in Edition 1 and Edition 2 including Ruffa, Gretchen Barretto, Kris Aquino are not in this list now. It's just because of the categories that we chose and, like I said, the YES! list is always going to be subjective as any list on beauty will be.

YES! Magazine didn't say but I think another criteria for selection he/she is not on display at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum (coughRuffacough). Also, you're out of the list if a used tissue paper with snot in it shows more raw emotion than you do (coughRichardcough) in the acting department.

As for Anabelle, I have this mental of her owing a secret dark room, where you can only see plenty of candles and dolls. I have friends who told me that there is a certain prayer that you can use to make even your worst enemy lick the ground that you walk on. I can imagine Anabelle reciting this stuff repeatedly in succession while thinking about Wilma Galvante and Jo-Ann Maglipon. Don't be surprised if Anabelle is suddenly several millions richer in the coming months. Dark-sided!

Zorro Star Richard Gutierrez Hurt in Car Accident

For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV

An assistant of actor Zorro star Richard Gutierrez was killed while the matinee idol and his bodyguard were injured after they figured in a road accident in Cavite province before dawn on Friday, 22 May .

The accident occurred at 1:20 a.m. at an accident-prone area at the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road in Puting Kahoy village in Silang town in Cavite.

Gutierrez’s car hit a post and fell into a deep ravine, and hit a coconut tree. Gutierrez's assistant, Norman Pardo, died while being treated at the Adventist University of the Philippines Hospital.

Gutierrez, 25, and his bodyguard George Mastura, suffered relatively minor injuries and were rushed to the Tagaytay Hospital for treatment.

Initial investigation showed Gutierrez was on his way home from a shooting when the accident occurred.

He was the one driving the Nissan Skyline GTR sports car.

The area where the mishap took place is “accident-prone" as it is near a blind curve. There have been complaints that there are no lights or safety barriers on that part of the road.

Update on the Anaballe Rama, Richard Gutierrez and PEP Saga

There have been several developments on the issue involving Anabelle Rama, Richard Gutierrez and PEP. Anabelle Rama has filed a P25 M lawsuit for grave slander against Wilma Galvante. Richard Gutierrez has also filed a P25 M libel suit against PEP for uploading an article about an alleged scuffle involving Richard Gutierrez and Michael Flores.

Wow, if Anabelle loses in her suit against Wilma Galvante, she will be P8 M poorer. However, she and her family would be P50 M richer if they win the lawsuits against Wilma Galvante and PEP. I wish a judge would immediately reject these ridiculous, multi-million lawsuits for the income-generating schemes that they are.

The Gutierrez family has also issued a cease-and-desist letter demanding that PEP immediately stop from writing articles about her main money maker, Richard Gutierrez. They read PEP and saw from the comments from PEPsters that public sympathy is not on their side. It is all Anabelle Rama's doing. There are malicious commenters, trolls they are called, but in general PEPsters are an intelligent bunch who see through Anabelle Rama's bullshit.

If Gutierrezes somehow succeed in shutting down PEP, those commenters will find a new forum. You want to stop a huge section of the Internet community from commenting against Richard Gutierrez? Good luck with that. Ask Edu Manzano if he has made any progress in shutting down the online downloading of movies, videos over at P2P portals.

When I see Anabelle Rama on TV, I have both hands up in front of me with the middle fingers extended. She's probably coming from the right place in her desire to protect her money makers, but she, her big mouth and her bullshit are the one turning the public away from Richard Gutierrez.

The Gutierrezes are all celebrities, constantly in the public eye. In my mind, that makes them fair game. If they don't want negative stories and comments to be attributed to them, then they should move out to Antarctica and watch while the glaciers melt. I think the only people who will miss them are showbiz folks who have received gifts and money from them at one time or another, and of course the Gutierrez family's very own brown noser, Jun Lalin.

I watched Anabelle Rama being interviewed on Showbiz Central, and immediately I noticed that something was amiss. It took me a while to figure out that she is not her usual loud and obnoxious self, possibly upon the advise of her lawyers to gain public sympathy. It was a tamer Anabelle Rama, but she lets out acerbic words aimed at PEP's lawyer, who was earlier interviewed on StarTalk, once in a while. Well, has any of us seen a leopard change its spots? As long as Anabelle remains a palengkera, bungagera, pala-away, mukhang pera, then all is right in the universe. An epiphany, even a religious one, will not turn Anabelle Rama into a saint, I don't think.

I just had a thought. If Richard Gutierrez is suing PEP because of a noble obligation to fight for the rights of other actors who have been victims of false journalism, or if he just wants to make a point, why doesn't he sue for P1, or better yet announce that the money will be given to charity? It's not unheard of, but probably first in the Philippines.

This Time Anabelle Rama Is The One Suing

The entertainment site PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) has issued an apology but Anabelle Rama will still be filing a lawsuit against PEP for erroneously publishing a report of an altercation between her son, Richard Gutierrez, and another actor, Michael Flores, during the birthday bash of director Mark Reyes.
There will be two separate lawsuits, one from Anabelle and the other from Richard. Wow, that should be worth millions and millions of pesoses in damages.

Anabelle is out for blood because PEP's editor-in-chief apologized for not making a thorough investigation of the incident before publishing the report. Anabelle wanted PEP to say that the incident never happened at all.

Anabelle is keen on pursuing the case because, according to her, her entire family felt hurt by the report on PEP and it tarnished Richard's status as a major endorser and as today's No 1 young actor in the country. Even her daughter, Ropa, condemned PEP's article via her Sunday entertainment show, The Buzz.

Uhm, if I wasn't mistaken not the entire Philippines read the article. It was an online article that only the most avid PEP reader will catch as it was taken down almost immediately. Take me for example. If not sa pagbubunganga ng mga Gutierrez, hindi ko malalaman na may artikulo palang ganun.

Hay, Anabelle, making a mountain out of a molehill. Scandals and erroneous reports are part and parcel of being a public figure.

GMA Executive Sues Anabelle Rama

Anabelle Rama is being sued by GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment for libel. The suit also seeks a temporary restraining order (TRO) and P7 M in damages from Rama. The war between the two started when Anabelle Rama accused Wilma Galvante of harassing her talent, hottie JC de Vera, into accepting a project, causing the actor to cry. Oh hotness, why the tears? Are you afraid of losing a project or your manager? Wilma is afraid of Anabelle and her tendency to do bodily harm to those who get in her way. That's why the TRO.

Wait, there is no mention of jail time if Anabelle is convicted. If there is a higher being, Anabelle Rama will be found guilty, made to pay damages and languish in jail.
